"I am grateful for Scott Schneider of Olde Tyme Floor Company for solving a mystery! I have just had engineered wood flooring installed in my home, (by a general contractor, not a specialized flooring contractor like Scott - mistake #1!) and couldn't understand why I didn't like the finished result!!! So I reached out to Olde Tyme to refinish my BRAND NEW FLOORS (I know - crazy!) Scott immediately diagnosed the problem and, thankfully, it was fixable! - The installer that I used (not Scott) didn't properly clean up after installation, which left a very visible and unsightly gluey "haze" - a film over the entire project, which wouldn't come off with regular wood-floor cleaner. There were even foot prints (presumably glue) from the installers' shoes! Scott very kindly, on his off hours, detailed the steps I needed to take to fix the problem - namely, insisting that the original installer return and properly clean the entire floor. ***I would absolutely hire Olde Tyme Floor Co.to install any future floors. Scott is solid and above board (no pun intended) is really communicative and personable and really knows his business! Oh, how I wish I used Olde Tyme Floor Co.!!! "We were facing severe water damage in our kitchen and floors. We called the experts of Hometown Restoration, and they arrived with restoration work. They were very much interactive and meticulous in their work. If you have authentic, non-engineered hardwood floors, they have devices that can help you save them from water damage. The great thing was they handled the insurance paperwork nicely and made us tension-free. Thanks to the team of Hometown Restoration, we are delighted with their service!"

"It took a long time but it is done. I had some problems with them but they did satisfy me as the customer. There were some spots on the floor that should have not been there. So they ended up giving me a discount, it was a $30000 job and they gave me a 900 discount for the spots on the floor so I don't know how to rate them. The floor is 99% perfect. There was only a 1% I was unhappy with and am still unhappy with. But I decided to settle with them because I didn't want to move out all of my furniture again and have them redo the floor. It's really a big hassle. I don't want to give them a bad mark but I just can't give them a 10. 

They were very professional so I have to admire that. I would use them again for carpet but probably not for oak flooring."
