"Millenium Irrigation was perfect for what my husband and I were looking for in terms of getting suggestions on how to keep our grass health and green. They fixed our sprinkler system and replaced sprinkler heads that were broken or either missing. They also recommand that we install a rain system as a back up to our sprinkler system so that our lawn would not be over watered. They were professional and knew their business very well. I would recommend them highly for a job well done!."

"I initially contacted 3 vendors that perform sprinkler repair in my area. Only one, Landscaping Masters, called us back. They did so same day and came out the same day to provide a quote. Very professional and knowledgeable. The quote was reasonable for the amount of work requested. The came out the very next day and performed the work. During the process additional issues were discovered that I was not aware of. David and his team not only repaired the faulty system, they replaced worn out sprinkler heads and valves, moved some to new locations for better coverage and added additional sprinkler heads where needed. They found a repair made by another company that was completely wrong and they corrected it. They used quality parts and even provided some sprinkler heads I was unaware even existed. In the end, the additional work obviously cost more, but the result, a fully working sprinkler system (all 4 zones) was very nice. David also provided a 90 day warranty on parts and labor. I recommend Landscaping Masters for all of your lawn sprinkler installations and repairs. Well done!"

"the guys from Precision came to the house and spent time doing some investigation. they determined that it was not the irrigation system after all. Is actually main line into the house. Amazing thing is they didn't even charge us. We'll be having them back in the spring for a full estimate to get the system working correctly. (former owner had terrible install) Super nice guys, polite and knowledgeable."

"Wonderful. Nerys and one helper worked all day to bring our system back to life, the previous owner just left it broken. New timer head, sprinklers, jets, etc. Dug down four feet to replace control valves. Moved some lines, added some jets for coverage. The whole thing. Then when done, Nerys went over the timer system and walked me outside to see all four zones in action, allowing me to tweak anything I wanted. Lastly they disconnected the timer head and winterized the system by blowing out all lines. He'll be back in March at no charge to start it up again. Thanks Nerys!"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Palmetto, GA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
