"Everything went very well. We sent Michael pictures of what needed to be done. He gave us a quote. We later asked him to come onsite to firm up the quote, which he did, and the price was the same. He stated he was booked some time out, but said he sometimes has cancellations. He contacted us and stated he indeed had a cancellation, so was able to start the next day. He started the work, even without a deposit, since it was short notice, and we were still away, out of town. We were trying to decide what to do for railing, and had captured quotes from supply companies for replacement aluminum or steel materials, but they seemed high. We asked Michael for his thoughts. He checked a hardware store for us, sent us pictures, and then sent us the part number/SKU's from the store. We paid the store directly, and he picked up the materials. The work is almost done, but all has gone great thus far, and we see no reason why it won't complete with great success."

"The best thing about Nail It Down is that they are very responsive. I learned about their company at a local business fair and talked to them about my roofing needs on my garage. We talked a little bit and I got their contact information. The staff I met were very friendly. A few days later, I called the company to schedule a free quote. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
