"First, the guys that installed the hardwood flooring did a great job. They were there on time and did a first class job. I would highly recommend them for any floor job. <br /> The ordering process that led up to the installation did'nt go as well. We started the process back in ealry June when we went to the Floors Are Us showroom and picked out the flooring we wanted. This flooring was ordered and we paid for the materials up front in full. The install date was set for July 5. <br /> We arranged to take July 5th off from work, and spent most of the day July 4 moving all the furniture out of the living room. The installers were supposed to be at the house around 10:00am.....at 10:10am I called Floors Are Us wondering where the installers were....the Floors Are Us person told me to call one of the head guys named Justin. When I called him, he aplogized and told me that when the installers were loading the materials they noticed it was the wrong flooring and that it would have to be reordered.... <br /> So....we took a day off and moved tons of furniture for nothing.....long story short....no one checked to verify the right flooring had come in...the wrong stuff sat in their storage room for 2 weeks and no one ever verified it was the correct flooring for our job....and we were stuck for another 2 weeks with a house in chaos until the right flooring arrived and a new install date could be arranged...which was July 20. <br /> So, the bad news was a major delay and disruption for us and wasting a day of vacation time. <br /> The good news was that they arranged for the installers to come on a Saturday so we could avoid another day of vacation time and took a few hundred off the price. <br /> Again, the installers were great -- the ordering process and communication with the customer wasn't so good. <br /> If you use them, you will have to stay on top of them every step since they don't pay much attention to detail....and if you do, you'll do fine <br /> <br />"

"They did a great job, calling me within 45 minutes of a web inquiry that I made an hour before they opened, they were able to come out an stretch a 7 year-old carpet that had started bubbling up. They came out the same day and were great to work with. They worked around several features that made the job more challenging (hearth, baseboard heater) with aplomb. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. <br />"

"Very well. Installation time was flexible, and installers came when scheduled. They were prompt both days and worked continuously. They had to move some heavy furniture; no damages to anything. Cleaned up nicely. Good selection of carpets, including some warehouse items on site."
