"He was very responsive and took no more time than expected. He said leak was from garbage disposal that was very old. That was not surprising to me, I was expecting it. He replaced the garbage disposal with a high end Moen. I asked him to replace the kitchen faucet as well, he gave me one that had a sprayer on it, that was a huge plus for me. He also re-installed my dishwasher that was installed incorrectly by the original installer. I trust him. I would rehire him in a minute."

"Moore's takes care of my pool on a weekly basis. They show up when they say they will and let me know when the schedule or technician changes. They have replaced both my pump and filter (at different times) in a quick and efficient manner. I highly recommend them."

"My husband and I new we would be needing new pool equipment. We weren't sure when we were going to buy, because our old pump was still working (but it was not quiet like the new ones we'd seen.)  It was also old and ugly-looking. Over the past week, our water was starting to look green and cloudy, so we had the water tested and we added some recommended products to try to clear it up, but didn't see any improvement. In fact, we felt it was looking worse. I was beginning to worry that we weren't going to be able to fix it ourselves. <br /> So, I called Westmoreland Pool Service to ask the owner, Clay, about the green, cloudy water, and other pool issues we were having. I also asked him to give us a quote on new pool equipment since we were not happy with what we had. Clay scheduled the appointment for the next morning and came out to take a look. He diagnosed our high phosphate problem and asked some questions. How long have we lived here? Have we ever drained the pool? Turns our we should have been draining the pool every two years, but we didn't know that. He warned us that it should be drained BUT we shouldn't do it until the weather gets cooler?around October. Our pool is older and has a porous surface so we need to be careful about that. I was learning some things and asking questions. <br /> Clay also said the same thing that others have told us about our sand filter?it is not large enough for the size of our diving pool! No wonder we've been having trouble keeping the pool clean. I felt Clay gave us the truth about our situation, he gave us an idea of how much it would cost to replace our equipment and how much better that would be for the pool. He helped talk us through how to handle some tile repairs that need to be done too. He added more product to help lower the phosphate issue and called me promptly with a price on the new equipment. <br /> We were eager to get our problems resolved and had already had an estimate from another company. The estimates were similar, so we decided to choose Clay to do the work because he was so prompt with responding and came out to help us assess the situation. (The other company?a pool store?just quoted us a price without coming out to see anything.) We agreed to a price on the new equipment and scheduled Westmoreland to do the work the next day. Clay called in the morning before he showed up. He did a great job and even painted the PVC pipes to make them match the rest of the equipment. He gave us a lesson on programming the new pump and was finished up before noon.  <br /> I would recommend this company. I'm glad I did my research and found Clay. He did a great job. <br />"

"Justin came out to give us an estimate on a new pool pump and was very explanatory and understanding of my lack of knowledge.  He took the time to make sure I understood what was needed and why it was needed.  I liked him so much that I decided to hire him for our monthly service. <br />"

"Matt arrived on time and completed the work over two mornings.  He was professional and courteous.. engaging our discussion on the work undertaken plus our questions on future replacement of toilets and an installation potential for a water softener. <br />"

"The service was fine. I think they charged more than the Big Deal cost for some parts or something that they needed. My husband took care most of it because he was here and I was at work. The work was fine and it has worked fine since. Basically, I would say that we were pleased with the service. I think he was on time. My husband did not have anything bad to say."

"Our system is only 2 years old and I was worried that it might be more than just a matter of changing the filters. (We turn off our water when we leave for the summer.) End result: changed filters and all working great. Service was fast and efficient. I learned some facts, since this is my first RO system. I must also add that I received a confirmation telephone call the day before (on a Sunday) to make sure the RO expert knew exactly what was the issue, plus to make sure the correct replacement filters were available. Impressive."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Palo-verde, AZ

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
