"I did not have a good experience with the communication. The Handy Lady does all her communication through computer and I am older and not that adept with the computer. When she sent me things, I could not open them because I didn't have the proper software. Every time she sent me something I had to forward it to my brother and he did something and had to forward it back to me. It was a big problem and I like to talk to people on the phone. The communication wasn't what it should have been. They were very nice people but it got to be a little bit aggravating. When I called I had to leave a message. The quality of the work was excellent. I am very happy with the deck and the product they used. Somebody came out to power wash and prepare the deck. There was mildew on the deck and the power washing was not taking it off so I went out with a wire brush myself. He told me that the bleach would kill it but I've done the deck before myself and I know that bleach won't remove it even if it is dead and you paint over it. I didn't complain about it because I am happy with the end result but it was a lot of work for me. I had a few other estimates and their price was in the ballpark. They were using different product. I researched some of the product and even went to the store and talked to the people about the product. What they were using was probably the best. I had one bid that was way lower but you get what you pay for. I even had problems getting hold of the worker because he was out of the country."
