During the building process, David was very responsive, available, and receptive to changes and last minute decisions made along the way. The project took longer than anticipated and there were some unexpected setbacks, but David and Avi worked quickly to fix issues and keep the project moving forward. At the end of the project they were very responsible about making sure we were satisfied with every last detail before completing the project. "I was referred to 800 Remodeling by Angie's List, and the owner, Amir, called me literally minutes after I received the referral. I described my situation to him and we scheduled a meeting at my home for the following day. He arrived promptly and immediately introduced himself with a picture ID and his state contractor's license. After inspecting the cracks that were of concern to me in a structural post supporting a major beam, he took some pictures and promised to get back to me with some recommendations. The next day, he called just as he had promised, told me that after talking with a structural specialist he did not believe the post needed to be replaced, but nevertheless gave me a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate on what a replacement would cost, should I decide to have that done. After some additional research, I concluded that the cracks are typical and not impairing the structural integrity of the post, and decided for added insurance simply to reinforce the post with some wrap-around steel bands. Since that is a small and simple job, Amir offered to refer me to someone else to do that job for me. He did not charge me for the consultation or the time he spent in discussions with other specialists. So although I ultimately didn't hire him for this job, I was impressed by his professionalism and shall definitely be contacting him again for some larger jobs I am planning in the future."

"I needed a remodel job for my kitchen and living room, knowing it was something I couldn’t do and that the living room is a place where visitors must pass by, every visitor gravitates to the living room I decided to involve a professional. I contacted the Golan from H and A design. They did the work perfectly well. They started by providing a punch list for the both. In my kitchen, they used an engineered store that mimics marble and granite as well as sparkling granite floors. The painting was so cool and welcoming. They installed big cupboard that has many partitions and also a center table. The also installed new light fixture and a dishwasher that is better than the normal, the painting were all on white. Golan from H and A design gave my living room a welcoming look, the painting corresponded to the curtains and chairs. The walls were washed before the painting. The wood work was top coated when dried. At the end, my living room was so beautifully decorated. The center table and center rug were so awesome and it drew the attention of my visitors. I highly recommend them."

"I needed two exterior door jambs repaired on a historical home in Santa Ana. The bottom of the jambs, where they met the thresholds, were rotted and decayed. Additionally, there was possible damage to the bottom plate, trimmers, and king studs. I contacted McGee construction for the estimate. The estimate was more than fair so I accepted. Eric, the finish carpenter, came out and completed the repairs. He draped the room with plastic to protect the furniture, floors, and rest of the house. The repairs took three days and look fantastic. He was able to match up the new jambs to the existing arch doorways and thresholds. He recreated new casings to match the old door casings. Eric rehung the doors and the doors now open and close beautifully. Additionally, the new paint and stain matches the original. Good communication with the company, I was kept informed of the repairs, and they cleaned the job site everyday. i would hire them again without a doubt."
