"They were great to work with and receptive to feedback during the process. Work was done quickly! We hired them for a large spring clean up that required removing a lot of rose bushes and left the yard looking great."

"My family has been in the general contracting business for 70 years. I understand the goal of any good contractor is to exceed the expectations of those he serves. My experience with Preston was exemplary of that goal. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for a quality excavator or landscaper, honest, fair, reliable, and timely service."

"They did excellent professional work in just four days. My only frustration was less than stellar communication - I did not know when they were going to start, they just showed up. I also did not realize the entire yard would be torn up to build the patio, but since it was already dead and weeds that was okay. We probably would have discussed it otherwise. I love the patio and would use Legacy Pavers again."

"I had a paver patio put in the backyard and needed to replace the sprinklers and wiring that got torn up in the construction process. The sprinkler guy I had backed out. I was scrambling to find someone to put in the sprinklers and mail line, then tie them in to existing sprinklers. Millcreek responded quickly (in the high season) made time for the installation and came in at a fair and reasonable price. They encountered a few unexpected 2,obstacles along the way (fence concrete, unfinished conduit), so they came back on the weekend to finish the job. Nice guys, punctual, professional and a fair price."

"I called, and a tech was in the area. Miguel was there within the promised time. He listened to what I had done (tough when customers diagnose for you) and helped me see what was wrong. I left my house to buy the new faucet (they were here so quickly, I hadn't bought one) and I felt no issue leaving him with my dogs. He was ready for the faucet when I returned and had it installed very quickly. Only challenge for me is they do not take credit cards. Miguel was very polite, respectful and appreciative. Dan was very clear with costs and worked with me because I didn't have the part. The fact he had someone at my house within 30 minutes to avoid moving the appointment until tomorrow was TOTALLY appreciated. AWESOME JOB MILLCREEK PLUMBING!"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Park City, UT

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
