"This experience was up to par from beginning to end. They looked over every room and told me exactly what needed to be done. Then exacted on our conversation."

"

Overall, Norma did a very good job during the 7 plus months from start to finish of my renovation.  She listened to my requirements and gave options to meet those requirements during the design phase.  As I was not in town during the renovation, she coordinated with my contractor and coordinated the installation of shades and carpeting.  The final cost for her services was 90% higher than her "high" estimate at the time I contracted with her, which I attribute primarily to the fact that it appears that Norma more often does individual rooms, rather than an entire gut renovation, and she underestimated the time that would be needed.  In addition, I insisted on ordering from Build.com when possible, which limited her ability to get paid by some of the vendors.  Her usual mode, I believe, is to order from local stores, charging you the retail price and paying the store the trade price.  However, I was not amenable to this overall, so I think I paid more on an hourly basis.  If I had known how this would go, I probably would have negotiated a flat price for her services.

That said, Norma's design skills are excellent. I love the layout of my place, and I love the red marmoleum floor in the kitchen, which I never would have known to do without her! She was good humored about all my involvement, as I picked the paint colors, carpet and furniture. She had a good working relationship with my contractor, and I love how my place turned out!

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"We ordered a custom Table Pad for our Dinning room table. The directions to trace the table edge was clear and concise and the Pad was a perfect fit!"

"Based on our past experience with AOM (interior painting), we used them to powerwash our home. They had all the appropriate equipment and did an excellent job. Our 20 year old vinyl siding looks totally refreshed. David is easy to work with and goes the extra mile. We will continue to AOM for future projects.

"The first meeting with Jeff I noticed he had a keen perception of people. He asked me pointed questions to understand what my needs and wants were. He showed me only a handful of condos before I found the place that was perfect for me. He even negotiated a lower price than I had expected to pay! Jeff also helped me with my loan and managed to locate a loan with a lower percentage rate on my 30 year fixed loan. The process was stressful since I was a first time home buyer. Jeff made it as painless as possible. He answered every single question without delay, patience, and was extremely knowledgeable. I will use Jeff again and will refer him to anyone looking to buy property."

"They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."

"Rae Duncan is the most talented designer and phenomenal renovation partner with whom I have ever worked. My husband and I are working with Rae on a near complete gut rehab of a home we recently purchased and could not be happier with the results. First, she took the time to understand and help us refine our vision for the home and, after just one initial meeting in our new space, she was able to intuit and articulate how to make our vision a reality. Rae brings a deep and talented network of contractors and craftspeople to the fore to create truly custom spaces, within tight budgets and against tight timelines. And she does more than interior design; she creates transformative interior environments. I have worked with other designers, and none have worked as creatively and efficiently as Rae. She exhibits a rare brand of patience and empathy, expressing her creative vision and point of view while treating her clients as true partners in the design process. She also conceives of brilliant solutions to the design challenges inherent to older homes like the one we recently purchased and smaller spaces like the one she helped us stage and sell. Rae's spatial and aesthetic brilliance, coupled with her sensitivity and responsiveness to her clients' needs, make her a truly incredible designer. I would highly recommend working with Rae; she has truly transformed our space in a way we never could have imagined based on our experience with other designers, and helped transform our lives in the process!"

"Hector and his crew were very professional from the first moment we spoke on the phone. He is a listener first type of person who wants to make sure he understands your desires. The wife and I never felt like our concepts were in Jeopardy of being changed or manipulated. They were on time everyday and worked from beginning to end of the workday. The job was finished in the agreed upon time and the work was of the highest quality. Our home looks like it did when we first purchased it. We are so happy. If you want quality at a great price, hire Hector and his crew. You will not be disappointed But wait until I'm finished with him. I have another project he will be starting shortly. This company is a keeper on is on my shortlist whenever I need any painting or deck restoration completed. Thank you Hector and crew. You are amazing."
