"Our service technician was David. He arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. Our new pump was installed in less than one hour. We were pleased with the work. He came after hours 6:30pm and did not charge an exorbitant fee. He was pleasant and very informative when asked questions. If there was a topic he was not familiar with he answer "I'm not sure". I like reliable companies with professional employees. We had another plumber come earlier and wanted to charge us $452 dollars for a 1/2 HP pump that cost on average $242, $200 for accessories for installation (I paid $276 taxes included for pump and accessories), labor charge to go and pick up the pump and to install the pump. His price $1252. I was told that it was considered an emergency so that is why the price was so high. This was the morning two days after the flood. After we got the pump we called several times and no response as of yet, He's off my list completely. I share this illustration so that buyers can make educated decisions about how best to spend their money. I don't assume that the plumber whose charges were 50% higher than anyone else I called on Angies List. I simply say do your homework and know what is considered a fair price. "The service went fine.  I wanted them to test if the carbon monoxide was leaking or something for the safety and also do the cleaning.  The guy that came out, didn't do any cleaning.  The good side was that he found that it was leaking; but the other hand, he said the machines were pretty old.  He can give some special price, if I want to make some major repairs.  I was not interested because of my purpose in the beginning was just to check the safety.  On the other hand, I was disappointed because he didn't do anything about the cleaning.  He came on time.  I got what I paid for.  The price was okay because he didn't charge more.  He tried to answer all my questions.  He came on the appointed day."

David came out and replaced our existing sub pump and installed a battery back up pump. He was on time and communicated with me exactly what he was going to do. When he was done he explained how both pumps worked, I understood it very well. He cleaned the u very well.

"This is really a great company. Super-responsive, fair prices, and, most importantly, quality work done by knowledgable and hard-working folks. I initially called about a leaky kitchen faucet and the owner contacted me right away and was at my house within the hour. He diagnosed my problem immediately, recommended a solution, gave me a reasonable estimate, and said it would be taken care of that day. I was so impressed that I decided to ask for a quote on replacing an aging sump pump and water heater. I wound up having those replaced as well. They also installed a frost-free spigot in front of the house when I mentioned the issues I was having with the ancient "vacuum breaker" that sprayed water everywhere and that I simply could not remove myself. Now flash-forward to 2 weeks later: I detected a water-stain on my living room ceiling which I deduced was probably coming from an upstairs toilet. However, it is a relief to know that there are competent, responsive professionals out there like Kelly that you can turn to when the need arises."

"It went extremely well! They were punctual, hardworking and professional. It was necessary to dig up my neighbor's landscaping, so they were very careful to disturb only what was necessary and to restore everything to its original condition. They even replaced her broken underground downspout extension (which was draining into my basement!) without comment or additional charge. When my neighbor accused them of causing a problem, MJ was quick to respond and the team on-site made a point of apologizing to her in person. I don't think MJ caused the problem, so I was very impressed that they "went high" to investigate the matter and, as I said, apologize for the inconvenience she felt she suffered. The work they did inside to remove mold and seal the wall was thorough and neat. The gentleman doing the work cleaned up everything and took all of his equipment and trash with him. his is especially important since he was working with strong chemicals. My contact in the office was prompt to address anything I threw her way. It was easy to make payments online. Best of all - no sign of water in the basement since they were here!!"
