"Jacob was referred to my wife and me by our realtor when we first arrived to Boise in 2023. Since that time, Jacob has completed two significant projects for us and we have found that Jacob is an impressive craftsman. Jacob listens to our vision, engages with ideas and solutions, and then focuses on execution in a timely manner. And we have also learned over the months, that not only is Jacob a top-notch contractor, but he also impresses us in his amazing work ethic that drives him in helping to build the best life and future for his own family. We consider Jacob a friend."

"After deciding to remodel a very dated bathroom I interviewed Shawn Rendon. He made great suggestions to upgrade the rather small room and make it more accessible and safe. After complete demolition of the original 37 yr old space, team member Tristen expertly rebuilt the room including crafting a damless shower and then installing tile walls and floor. He kept me informed every step of the way and we have a beautiful walk in shower with no barriers. Other members of the team were outstanding in removing and replacing the original flooring throughout the first floor. Tristen again was great installing new lighting throughout. Rob is a master painter with 25+ years of experience and did a meticulous job painting walls, ceilings, doors and trim and they look brand new! Josh, the project manager is a great liason and communicator. He and Shawn were responsive to any of my questions or concerns in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Rendon Construction!"

"The sales reps, while they were nice and professional, at the end of the day they were still salesman first. They put us through an almost 4 hour presentation that ended up with us signing a contract that my wife and I were left not feeling very good about and pressured into. They even called their manager who congratulated us on our new bathtub setup for $12k. We hadn't even signed anything or been approved by the financial dept yet! In order to cancel the contract, I have to take a signed paper to their main office after work today. Very inconvenient for me. The worst part was that Thomas and Holden kept guilt tripping us into signing the contract because they had come all the way out to Mountain Home from Boise. If that's part of your job, don't make the customer feel bad about it. Lastly, they showed us what a "high end" bathroom remodel job looked like at over $24,000! That's more than it would've cost us to completely replace our HVAC system! If you have a chance to use DaBella, go ahead and skip them. Pushy and too expensive. Update: Just got an alert from Credit Karma, DaBella still did a hard pull on my credit even though I canceled them yesterday! Plus the receptionist, Maggie, told me that the team leader would be reaching out to me to confirm our cancelation; that did not happen."

"The guys working in the house where great to work with. They did a great job putting the new floor. The bathroom looks fabulous. There was some miscommunication on certain things but overall when I update some more parts of the house I will use them. "

"Andy, owner of Touchstone, was the project manager on our new home, He also did custom finish carpentry, installed our beautiful rock driveway, performed special carpentry in our formal dining area and kitchen, built our driveway entrance gates and a large medieval bridge, and did exceptional trim work, to name some of his individual accomplishments. The work was excellent...truly craftsmanlike...reasonably priced, with nothing left undone or incomplete. Andy uses skilled contractors and delivers. He even replicated a mid century fireplace pine paneled wall to within an inch of the original. Simplt put, Andy and team are the very best...on top of which, their communication is excellent. Top drawer! "

"Nick & crews just completed residing our house and reroofing our barn. His bid for both projects was very reasonable & they completed both projects in a timely manner. He and his crews did an excellent job paying extra attention to details. Nick was very responsive and easy to work with, he has excellent communication skills and kept us informed every step of the project. As issues arose he quickly resolved them. We highly recommend Crafted Homes and we plan to use Nick again for future projects. "

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Parma, ID

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
