"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. "Kenneth was amazing to say the least! From the moment we first sat down with him for an estimate, he was professional, polite, & extremely knowledgeable, all the way until the completion of the job. We explained to him that we wanted to update our old kitchen & he offered great suggestions of how we could improve & better maximize our space such as taking down the wall separating the kitchen from living room to create an open concept & allow better air flow through the house, move the back door from the right side to the left to get the best use of the longer wall & allowing for more counter space, & suggesting putting in a toe-kick heater to warm the floor when I expressed how my feet are freezing during the winter. He returned w/ a computer model of what our new kitchen would look like & checked in w/us throughout the build. We were so impressed w/our new kitchen/living room that we also hired him to build our deck & remodel the front of our house so check out those pics too! ???"
