"After getting several quotes, we chose Dave's Fence to install a white vinyl privacy fence for our home, after they installed a black chain link fence for our business. Randy was our sales rep for both jobs, and he was excellent and very helpful. We also worked with Darlene via e-mail, and she was Awesome, as well, helping us get some requests taken care of post install. Considering the strong quality of the white vinyl fence Dave's uses, there's really only one company near or around Central Florida that is a direct competitor for them, but I'm glad we chose Dave's fence over their competitor, as their customer service has been top notch from start to post-installation, and the cost savings has been great, as well. When interviewing vinyl fence companies and getting quotes in a hurricane-prone state like Florida, be sure to look for a company that will install the vinyl fence, properly permitted, and who uses strong or "commercial" vinyl fence with top and bottom rails that are at least 6-7" wide, and posts that are 5"x5" with 1.5'-2' in the ground, and set in cement. Also be sure to ask for the posts to be no more than 6' apart (important! even if it costs more), and always ask for u-channels on BOTH sides of each panel/section/post (this will help prevent gaps forming better than just nails and screws), and ask for the fence to be straight on top, rather than contour to the ground (which can look bad, since the top of the fence won't be level and straight). If you have kids or a large dog, you can also ask about having two latches on each gate, to help prevent a kid or animal from pushing or pulling the gate door on the bottom and squeezing through. Dave's Fence installed our fence and did a great job being careful around the multitude of plants in my yard. I asked the team leader, James, to let me know if any plants would be in the way of our new fence line, and sure enough, he contacted me during install, and offered to dig a plant up, so it would'n't be damaged. Post installation, Daves Fence promptly scheduled another team to fix any concerns or special requests I had, such as closing the gaps near our gate hinges (even their competitor has these gaps), and changing the swing of a gate. Mind you, they might not be able to come back the same or even the following week, but they will schedule call-back appointments ASAP for their next available slot. Speaking of gates, their standard self-latching gate hardware allows their gates to be locked on either side with a common padlock, and they offer free, lifetime gate adjustments. Also, at the time of my purchase, their gate cost was the same no matter if a small, 2' wide gate is desired, or if a larger gate is desired, like the 5 or 6' wide gate style that we chose that's big enough for a riding lawn mower to pass through. Aside from white, they also offer different colors of vinyl, but the colors are more expensive. The only thing their competitor had that Dave's did not, was a wider variety of post cap designs that are all the same cost. Daves had only the most popular choices, and some were a little bit more expensive than others, but not by much. Overall, Daves did a great job, and what I like most about their company is their commitment to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are completely satisfied both before installation, and even after the fence is already installed and paid for. It's not that easy to find companies like this these days. We definitely recommend Dave's Fence for both vinyl fences, and black chain link fences."

"They're busy, so it took time to get on their schedule, but once our time came up, they called ahead, came when promised, promptly, were congenial, did excellent work, fine-tuned the gate mechanisms on previous fencing done more than a year ago, and provided us valuable information about scheduling some warrantied work that would take longer. Two weeks later, the enclosure is rock-solid secure at the corners, remains clean and even, and the spring loaded, gravity closing gate works quite well. We have recommended them to others, and continue to recommend their estimating, responsiveness, as well as for their exceptional work [installation and clean up], completion, and follow up satisfaction. What we had installed/erected was three-sided [open on the house side], 'rectangular', 22' of 4' high white Hamilton standard privacy fence with a 4'gate."

"We had a couple false starts due to hurricane Irma followed by a death in the family. We had to postpone two installation dates, but once things settled down we were guickly rescheduled. The two-man crew arrived at the scheduled and proceeded with the job. There were some significant issues with the French door, but they were handled professionally and cheerfully without extra charge. A large amount of stucco around the door had to be repaired and that was done quickly by another crew while we were out of town. Lorne and Kurt did an excellent job on the doors and windows. Lorne returned a few days later by himself to install the garage door and did a beautiful job of installing trim around the inside on what was a very challenging surface. One panel of the French door had the inside frame installed upside down, making it impossible to operate to blinds. It took too long, about two weeks, for the door vendor to come to remedy the situation. Once they got here the repair was quickly made. The project manager, Andy, was initially a little slow to respond to calls. That could be an effect of the hurricane. Once things got underway Andy was very responsive to both calls and texts and was easy to work. Everyone bent over backward to make sure the job went well. We are very pleased with the job and highly recommend PRC to anyone in need of new windows or doors."

"they were very prompt and professional to visit and do the free estimate. They took a bit longer than anticipated to build the fence, and the sales person completely detached from me once the contract was signed. There was no follow up from him or the company as of the status of the installation unless I initiated it with a phone call. They gave me a day's notice as I requested, but I think I only knew they were coming because I asked. <br /> The day of the job, two men showed up, but a couple hours later I realized there was only one man working. I came out to bring him water and found out the other person was only there to help deliver the material, but he would be working alone because his assistant was hurt on a job recently and is not back yet. For this reason he took a day and a half to finish (which I think was remarkable), but he said under normal circumstances they would have been done in a day for sure. <br /> The gentleman was attentive, courteous, and certainly a hard worker.  <br /> When he finished, there was a lot more lose dirt around the site than I anticipated, but I have to assume that if two people were working, the site would have been left much cleaner, so I don't hold this against him. Overall, I think he did an excellent job. The fence is very straight and looks very neat. They used stainless steel on the gate locks for durability, which is a plus.  <br /> I got a quote from another company for this same job, and a third one that I made an appointment with never showed up for the estimate. SFR offered a competitive price against the other, about $400 less. I am not overly excited and impressed by their customer service, but I would hire them again if I needed this type of service. <br />"

"We had a palm tree fall onto a section of our chain link fence. I contacted the company that installed the fence, and they were totally disinterested in servicing a previous customer. A few other fence contractors I called didn't repair chain link. I found Campanella Fence, Inc. on line, and was extremely satisfied with the service. Sal Campanella, a retired NY police officer, was able to come by our house the same day I called him to give us an estimate. The next day he arrived first thing in the morning and completed the repair where the tree had landed, plus two more spots with damage that had existed previously. Contractor was punctual and showed up with all equipment - including some very specialized thinning and climbing apparatus. Additionally, contractor showed up with capable help to assist with ground work and an overall can do attitude was abundantly displayed by all. Contractor asked for customer's opinion of thinning of tree before moving to next tree and was open minded to additional thinning needed albeit concerned about amount of additional required time it might take to meet customer's goals. Completion of second tree was spot on with no need to communicate need for additional thinning. Contractor exhibited an extreme level of professional skill and performed challenging work to the highest standard. Raked area completely! Removed debris created and restored property to an extraordinary level. Crew was deserving of and received tip above contracted amount. Had contractor provide an estimate for additional work for a later time frame.
