"I recently hired John to do a mold remediation DO NOT use John Kearns. He is a SCAM. I recently hired John to conduct mold remediation on a house a few months ago. He spent 3 days doing the remediation work and charged $3,000. 2 months later, the mold is back. The exact places where he initially treated the mold have now returned. I called and texted John several times and he REFUSES to come back to fix the mold issue. He clearly did not successfully removed the mold the first time, and now he wonâ t even come back to fix his initial mess. What a joke. Just spent $3,000 and now I have to hire another mold company to clear up Johnâ s mess. He is arrogant scam artist who cannot do his job. "job was done in a timely manner, however was not done in a professional workman like manner, Which the contract states it would be done. When the estimator came he explained what would be done to eliminate water issue. When we asked how does water get removed outside and how they would undermine stairs and walls he simple stated the installers will go over that with you when they come. The installers said they would be channeling under the step and walls, which are only 2 1/2 inch walls. The last step was also a simple channel as well. More time consuming perhaps, when you charge $3000.00 more than another contractor, homeowners are believing they are getting a professional job! They cut her stair runner instead of peeling it back so it could be glued back down. she needs replace whole runner now and company could care less including there estimator! sheetrock replacement also more expensive because took a hammer to the walls instead of saw zall,nice straight lines! also have photos."
