"From start to finish First Fence was responsive & clear. They walked the property to discuss what we wanted. Made some suggestions for a better outcome, then sent an agreement with all of the details for us to sign. We paid a deposit in order to secure our time on their schedule, then paid the balance after the fence was installed. They also removed & discarded the old fence. All completed in one day. I really want to give 4.5 stars. A half star off for the length of time it took for them to come back and replace/adjust the gate, as the wood warped and it wouldn’t open. That took a month. All fixed now."

"Kynon DeVoss of Ore Ambitions Welding answered my late Sunday morning inquiry almost immediately . He came to my hone on Tuesday and we looked at the project. That Thursday he brought the material to my home. The next Thursday he fabricated and installed two garden step handrails. The project was seamless and he was very pleasant to work with."

"Fantastic! Professional, Diligent and Polite! Brian (Fonseca) a professional welder came with truckload of equipment and did a thorough job of welding our mailbox back to its post. He offered to repaint the mailbox and the post for a nominal extra fee and even fixed the hand and the lid which were not working for a long time. He even offered for free to stick door numbers on the post. Very polite and responsive all along! He reinstilled our trust in handymen in general! Thanks Brian!"

FAQs for wrought iron fence repair or weld projects in Duluth, GA

Wrought iron fence installation costs $1,200 to $4,200 on average. Your final cost depends on several factors, including the length and height of the fence, the intracity of the ornamental design, and the quality of the materials used. Iron fences cost $7,000 or more to install on the high end. Wrought iron fences are more expensive than fences made using other materials.

Wrought iron railings cost an average of $2,600, including labor and materials. Hiring a professional to install iron railings is crucial to ensure accuracy and safety. The price depends on the type of metal used, installation location, aesthetic elements, and whether you’re installing it indoors or outdoors. Materials include plain black iron, galvanized iron, and ornamental iron.

You should never paint over rusted wrought iron fencing. All this does is mask the underlying issue, as rust can slowly deteriorate the integrity of your iron fence, diminishing its durability and stability. Painting over a rusted fence also causes poor paint adhesion, which can lead to flaking. Be sure to remove rust and smooth the surface before painting.
