I submitted a photo and drawing of our project on Angie and Tracy with Don's Improvements, responded and scheduled a site visit. Tracy brings decades of construction experience and helped guide us from concept to detailed plan. They put us in touch with a great local tile company, Dehart Tile in Christiansburg. There, Carlie was a big help with tile and design choices. Tracy gave us a detailed proposal laying out the scope of work, price and timeline. Donnell did the remodel work, and he is highly skilled in the crafts for our job, carpentry, drywall, tile, and wood flooring. Donnell is a true perfectionist and is great to work with. We had to replace some subflooring that had water damage. He was very clear about what was required to correct the hidden damage and the cost. Communication throughout the job was excellent. We are very pleased with our new bath. We highly recommend Don's Improvements."

"<p>  We are in the Northern Virginia area and this business is based out of the Roanoke area. This was not a concern as the Northern Virginia area is serviced by Seal-Tite. . Mark, the estimator arrived on time and explained how we did not need a system proposed by another company which cost much more than what Seal-Tite offered. Mark explained the process and left us with a price to discuss. I felt like Mark listened to what type of repair I was requesting and did not try to add services that we did not need or weren't interested in.  After having two other companies visit we asked Mark to come back and give us an estimate if the cracks were repaired from the outside. Originally we had discussed repairing them from the inside since the dry wall had already been removed and the cracks were assessable from the inside. Mark readily agreed to return and a second estimate was given. I felt like repairing them from the outside was what we wanted since the water comes in from the outside. </p> <p>   Seal-Tite called to schedule our appointment and called Miss Utility since digging was taking place on the outside of our home at the location of each crack. Three workers arrived on time and started hand digging the sites down to the footers as outlined on the contract. Cracks in our concrete foundation were sealed with hydraulic cement and covered with a swell-tite membrane. This was covered with another material and the dirt was returned. The men worked quickly and allowed me to ask questions as they worked. One crack was repaired on the inside basement wall due to wiring outside the crack. This was discussed when Mark was giving an estimate and there was no confusion with the warranty difference or process.  Items inside the basement were covered with plastic to contain any dust as the crack was sanded and plastic was placed on the floor to catch the mud from the rainy day. </p> <p>    Seal -Tite provided the exact service that I was looking for when searching for waterproofing services. "Was told it would take 2 weeks to complete job. Job completed 10 weeks later only to be torn out and started over after I complained to owner. Shower walls were torn out twice and floor of shower 3 times. Crockett was to return and fix molding and painting after the last floor replacement. I have called 3 times to arrange for cleanup and painting to be be completed and have yet to get a return call from George Crockett. One guy broke a pipe off in the floor of bathroom and it stained the ceiling below in family room. This repair was also not completed. I highly recommend. finding another contractor if you are going to do any remodeling."

"There work exceeded my expectations. I was very concerned about this job because my husband and I had just had some trees removed, and our yard had been limed and reseeded. It just worked out that I hired ConWorx to do this work after my yard had been done. I mentioned to Mr. Bailey that I didn't want the yard tore up with heavy equipment, so he and his crew dug out the dirt for the foundation by hand. When the job was finished, my yard was left in impeccable shape. I love my new concrete slab. The slab is level and should serve us well. We are excited to install our new storage shed."

"Chuck and his crew were a pleasure to work with. As with any job, problems arose and changes made and he was pleasant throughout the 8 week process. He coordinated the plumber (job included replacement of plumbing), electrician, tile and glass guys, etc. also getting the necessary permits. He worked with the plumbing supply people when we discovered the wrong faucet had been delivered. He was okay with reusing the medicine cabinet and a vintage ceiling light. Worked around an existing corner cabinet adding wainscoting on the walls. The electricians installed the sconces upside down and Chuck quickly turned them right side up for us. They took out the existing tub, built in a shower stall, tiled with white subway and black accent tiles, installed a shower nook, replaced the window in the shower stall with glass block, redid the floor tile, installed new toilet, sink, towel bars, etc. <br />"

"Matt was prompt with his response to our request for an estimate. He worked within the rates provided by the penny pinching insurance company. He stayed in contact with us throughout the two month long project. He took a bare stud and concrete gutted basement and turned it back into a great living space. He was flexible as our plans changed. The guy is a true jack of all trades. The project took longer than we wanted, but not all of the delay was the contractor's fault. He was also amenable to our expectations that minor defects be fixed. <br /> We intend to employ him again to work around our home. <br />"
