"Was there on time in the am. Dumped the wood on the driveway (moved the basketball hoop so it wouldn't be hit). All in all they were in and out quickly and very professional. Haven't used the wood as of yet- have a supply from last year. But the wood seems like it will burn good- very dry. <br />"

"The jobs took a few days in total. We had them do 2 phases to our project. They were pretty much on time and did exactly what we wanted. Shannon was very professional and helpful. We will probably be using them to do the rest of our front area in the spring. I would recommend them to anyone. <br />"

"All of my communication with the provider was via email.  I submitted a request for a price quote around the second week of November and the work was performed on November 25th (the day I'm writing this review).  The provider was very prompt in responding.  I sent them my home address and was sent back a picture of my house and yard to confirm my address.  I explained what I wanted done and they provided a price quote.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I had a preference for the type of mulch I preferred and they accommodated my request.  I revised my work order to cancel the leaf removal because the HOA removed the leaves.  A couple of days afterwards, the leaves were back (at this point, all the leaves had fallen due to strong winds the previous two nights).  I requested that leaf removal be added back to the work order (this request was submitted the morning that the work was scheduled to be completed).  I was hopeful that the request was not too late and learned that they did indeed receive the updated request in time to remove the leaves.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />On the day the work was done, I got home that nigh.  I couldn't see all of the yard except for sections here and there illuminated by street light.  Even though I couldn't see all  of the yard, I could tell that they did a fantastic job.  The fall foliage was completely removed and the mulching gave the flowerbeds and trees such a manicured look.  The bushes were neatly trimmed, including my hydrangea bush.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The work far exceeded my expectations.  I will definitely come back to this company for spring mulching.  My check is going in the mail in the morning. <br />"

"Mr. Ferriss is an artist, a professional, and wonderful to work with. I had a disaster of a backyard, and he designed and installed a beautiful patio with fire pit, an adjacent garden and gazebo, and appropriate and tasteful lighting. He further added definition and landscaping to the yard. His work reflected attention to detail and customer satisfaction. His work is like he is building it for himself. So much pride goes into his work. We were very pleased with his work and have enjoyed it immensely every day since. You will not be disappointed."

"David and amp; his crew came out to my mother and amp; father-in-laws house as expected and did all of the yard work, removed 3 trees that were taken down and cleaned everything from top to bottom. I would highly recommend this company to any one, they will not be dissapointed. They do the work like they would treat their own family. After the job is over and they leave, you know they have done exactly what you wanted and for the quoted price. You will not be sorry. I am and will be asking for their services in the future. <br />"

"overall everything went better than expected, worth every penny.  I couldn't be happy with the services that Mr Scarbrough and crew performed highly professional and knowledgeable.  Even gave me pointers on how to maintain yard.  The absolute best in the business hands down.   Crew arrived on time, put in a full days work, on a hot and sunny day I have no complaints. "

"Owner Bill Garrin came out just a couple of days after I called to look over what we wanted done and immediately drew a diagram with estimate so we could understand his suggestions. We understood that, ordinarily, we would have had to wait a few weeks while his crew finished up current jobs. As it happened, his next job was delayed because of all the rain we had this summer, so his crew was able to come the following week. They did the entire job beautifully in only three days. We suggested one change, which they accommodated and which, incidentally, reduced our cost. We are very happy with our new entryway and recommend Green Acres LLC highly. One thing to be aware of, the website is www.greenacresllc.com. If, as I did, you enter simply www.greenacres.com, you will get a grocery store website."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Pearisburg, VA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
