"We checked Angie's List for a Plumber and there was one listed.  We called that plumber and they were not able to help us in the time frame we needed HOWEVER Henry Plumbing referred us to Tony Perks Plumbing,  Hooray for Henry's!  I called Tony's and they said they were not able to get to us today but could get to us in the time frame we needed.  However, one of their technicians finished a job earlier than anticipated and they called us then sent him right over. He was prompt, professional and quick.  He told s how to take care of our bill and was on his way.  We definitely recommend this company and will use him in the future. <br />"

"Hail damage occurred in March of this year and I contacted Braswell Construction as well as 2 other local roofing companies. Chris Gaugler contacted me asap and came out to the house. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. A week later I had a brand new roof with gorgeous colored shingles. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped by and literally knocked on the door to inquire. Chris Gaugler was onsite and available for questions anytime to the very end. The crew only took one day to do the house, extended 4 car garage and well house. Photos attached and it really makes a difference."

"The technician came out the first day and determined the septic tank needed pumping, so a crew came out to pump the tank, which was buried about 15 to 18 inches deep--a hard job on a hot day. The technician thought pumping the tank might solve the drainage problem with the sink, but it did not, so he came back the next day. He started by putting some acid down the sink. He let that settle for a little while, and then he used an electrically powered auger to try to clear the blockage. The auger came to an abrupt stop, and he was splashed with the acid. He had to change shirts to prevent being burned. He came back in and tried it again. Same thing, except an abrupt stop that yanked the auger off the reel, which the technician had to fight with to get straight. Next, he went under the house and located a couple of clean outs. He opened the one near the sink and was splashed so badly with the acid from the drain that he had to go home and shower. He came back with a high-powered water jet. He was finally able to clear the problem--almost 40 years of grease accumulation that came out in sleeves--it was hard and unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. He then put everything back together and discovered the leak under the sink. It was a pipe that was original to the house, so it had served its life. He stayed to make sure that everything was sound and did not leak. This was not the first plumber we have had out to work on the drains, which have been slow since we moved in. Two other plumbers had been out to fix the problem, and they did improve it some, but not like Allen's. The drains run free and clear now. The technician (James) stayed with the problem until he found out what was going on. I am sure that this was one job that he probably counts as one of his worst days at work. Yes, the $840 bill hurt, but now the problem is fixed. I will definitely call Allen's again if I need other plumbing repairs (or anything that they can fix). <br />"

"We hired Performance Energy to air seal our attic and add additional insulation. Their representative provided a clear explanation of their process and provided a thorough assessment of our home's energy concerns. I had already done a lot to the house, so I was pleased to have a second set of eyes evaluating my work. They arrived with a crew of four, three were in the attic for several hours sealing all the gaps and cracks between the attic and the living space. They also used a thermal camera to check for leaks in my HVAC ductwork that was in the attic - prior to insulating. Once all the sealing was complete, they proceeded to add additional insulation throughout the attic. The only snafu was their generator died. We looked at the electrical connections and found the brushes in the motor had overheated and melted. It took about an hour to get a replacement generator and they were able to finish the project. Other than the generator - things went smoothly. I would definitely recommend them if you want to make your house more energy efficient. Don't add extra insulation until you have air-sealed!!"

Third was to install wood flooring in kitchen, laundry, and front door areas. Lastly was to paint walls in bedrooms and kitchen. Following the painting, was to replace four windows due to rot. His quality of work was very professional, and all jobs are done in a quality manner that I am truly pleased with. I would recommend him highly to all friends and coworkers. <br />"

"The guys were right on time, and did a great job. We had a whole house filter installed, and a ball valve. The whole house filter is a WONDEFUL thing - they don't install low grade product, but the price was definitely right :) We had a leak we didn't know about until after the filter was installed - Kenny came out on a Saturday and took care of it for us. He did a fabulous job, and definitely took care of us. I'll hire them again anytime!"
