Universal Windows Direct was founded in April of 2002 by William Barr and Michael Strmac. It was their mission to create a home improvement company that offers high quality home improvement goods at the best possible value. What began as two guys in a 350 square foot office quickly grew to become one of the nation's leading remodeling companies. Today, Universal Windows Direct represents thousands of customers and has a rapidly growing network of locations nationwide, all of which are actively involved in the communities they serve.

"Simply put, Bob (the owner) and his crew were awesome in every measurable way. They score a 100 points on a 10-point scale as far as we are concerned. To begin with, Bob responded to my voice-message within an hour or so...he visited the project location the next day, and provided his written quote within 2 business days. Bob also maintained communication during the period from my initial call to the morning that the work began. Based on DELL'AQUILA PLASTERING's current workload at the time, a tentative date less than 2 weeks out was agreed upon, subject to us completing other work (wiring, plumbing, etc). Bob maintained excellent communication, and called to confirm the start date and arrival time. Bob and his team arrived at 8:30am as promised. Once the drop-cloths were installed from the entrance to the bathroom by the workers, there was a continuous flow as the work moved right along. The project was completed on time and under the budgeted estimate (WOW!). Cleanup was exceptional, as there was nothing that would indicate that a sheet-rock and plaster project had just been completed. Combine all that I have said above, with the friendliness and professionalism of Bob and his Team, and the timeliness and quality of the work completed, and you have a FIVE-STAR COMPANY ready to complete your project!"

"These guys are absolutely amazing when it comes to the profession of painting. They make it look effortless as they work their way room to room. The employees are very courteous and are very respectful of your belongings. I can't tell you how happy we are with their work. They have effectively transformed our house into a new home. We will not hesitate to bring them back to finish our house once we complete our other renovations. I did not include photos because I don't think they adequately reflect the quality of their work."

"I can't praise the workers highly enough. Everything was professionally done. The entire area was cleaned at the end of each day. They made every effort to minimize disruption to my use of the spaces. One day there was a wind storm and a piece of fascia on my neighbor's house came loose and was flapping against the house. The neighbors were out of town. Bob Marburger, the manager on the project was able to pull the fascia down. He did it without any consideration of how he might get paid for his time. In fact, when my neighbor asked him how much he was charging for the fix; Bob told him to forget it. That is an excellent example of the type of person Rick Horn hires. On more than one occasion, they took my garbage to the curb or did other things that helped me out but were unrelated to their project. I have already hired them for another project. Their prices are fair--not the lowest or the highest; but the quality you will get for that fair price is excellent. Rick Horn Construction gets my highest recommendation with no reservation."

"Tony and his team did a fantastic job on a large room ceiling repair, remodel. They raised an old ceiling to its original 12 foot height while repairing all cracks, faulty wiring and any structural issues present in a 100+ year old home. Tony and his team did a fantastic job framing, wiring and of course his specialty plastering was fantastic. The thing that I appreciated the most was Tony's transparency and his value added ideas and forward thinking. Working with other contractors on past jobs I must say that Tony takes care of it all as he always thinks ahead of what you might need or want for your job and that I really value and appreciate. I look forward to partnering again with Tony and his team on future projects around our property."

"Dillion was very professional and did a great job overall. He did a good job communicating and coordinating throughout the process from scheduling to job completion. The work space and travel space were all taped off and secured prior to starting the job to ensure nothing was damaged during the job. Overall very pleased with the work performed/result and price for job, very reasonable for quality work. Would definitely consider again for future jobs! Thank you Dillion and Jordan, nice work!"
