"I have rarely been as pleased with any service as I received from this company. <br />      The main wastewater/sewer pipe was clogged so that toilets, sinks and clothes washer waste was backing up. A plumber whom I called could not clear the line and recommended General Sewer Service; it was then about 4PM. <br />  I called General Sewer and explained the situation, expecting to have to wait until morning for service. But by 5:30 he was at the house with all the equipment he needed to clear the line--which was under the slab floor of the house-- and by 8:30PM he was finished and the problem was solved. <br /> Rarely have I received service as promptly and effectively completed as General Sewer Service provided. <br />"

"This is my first septic system having moved into a new home from an older home with a public sewer connection, and I was quite pleased. They scheduled my pumping for the same day which impressed me since this was not an emergency. The two guys were friendly and answered my questions about whether or not to use enzymes (unnecessary since everything was working) and when to get it pumped again. They even showed how I could clean the effluent filter myself with a garden hose. Price seemed to be in line with the ballpark figure I'd looked up for a routine pumping of a septic tank. Only problem I had with them that I was told they'd be here between 2:00 & 3:00 in the afternoon and they arrived at 3:30-3:45. Not a big deal for me because I work from home anyway, but could've been a problem if I'd had to be somewhere. This is not going to stop me from using English again, though."

"<p>This is the 4th time that I have contracted with Sheridan over the past year and each experience has been really positive. They arrive promptly, are professional and always have the right equipment with them needed to do the job. </p> <p>Last year, I hired Sheridan to clear a clogged main line and on another trip to install a new water heater after it was damaged from a flooded basement. They also installed a nifty new water-powered back-up sump pump system (so the basement won't flood again during the next big power outage). </p> <br />"

"Called the emergency hotline originally as it was late on a Sunday originally.  Serviceman came out and spent only about 30 min using a manual snake to try and unblock the clog.  The line had a limited access points for an old iron piping, but  was informed the line would need replaced for $800-$1,000. They came back another day and replace the line and installed a new sink for the laundry room, removing an older steel sink.  Overall the quality of the new pipeline install was good and the serviceman was polite and courteous, I'm just not sure if the full line needed replaced, which drove may have made the final bill a little pricier than it may had been needed. <br />"
