"We expanded the scope of work from just a tear out and replacement of tiles/sub-floor in the shower stall to a full bathroom demolition (due to water damage of the bathroom sub-floor). I received the quote, asked for certain costs to be listed as 'adders' (since the insurance company wouldn't pay for these changes), and then submitted this quote to my insurance company for approval to proceed with the job. My insurance company called D. Burgo and asked about the costs itemized for the job. The next day I received a call from D. Burgo's owner saying that it was a 'waste of his time' speaking to my insurance company, and it 'was not appreciated' for me to share the quote with my insurance company. The owner advised that he had been a plumber for 33-years and he never wastes his time on answer questions or itemizing quotes for a job like this without his customer's deposit and an approval to proceed with the work. In summary, if you want to get a detailed quote and ask questions about the work scope proposed by this company, I recommend you go elsewhere. The fact that I, as a customer, was yelled out (LITERALLY) by the owner for having questions about the quote is a representation of this company's view of 'Customer Service.'"

"Al's Water Pump Service estimate came in at the lowest price. The responsiveness of the service was A+. He also removed our old filtration system that was no longer needed because of the depth of the well. The following is a list of the specifications of the job. <br /> Drill 4" water well up to 400 feet deep. <br /> Installed 4" x 10' well screen and gravel pack. <br /> Grout annular space to meet state and county codes. <br /> Installed new 1.5 H.P. submersible pump, 12-2 wire with ground. <br /> Installed 4" x 1" pit-less well adapter and chlorinate well. <br /> Installed WX-250 pressurized storage tank with all new brass fittings. <br /> Obtain state and county well permits. <br /> Seal old well if easily accessible. <br /> Did not include cleanup or water analysis by county. ( $380.00) <br /> Our water analysis came back with all levels well below the allowable limit. Our biggest problem had been with the iron content. My prior well had a iron content of 39.9 and 0.20 with filtration but even with filtration iron deposits were still staining my appliances and bathroom surfaces. Now our new well at 390 ft. has no filtration and our iron content is less then 0.10. I have not noticed any iron deposits yet and the water tastes great! <br /> Bart was very easy to work with and very accommodating to our schedule. We would definitely recommend him to others."
