"Top to bottom, the experience of working with Patio Enclosures (in Bensalem PA) was excellent--from sales advice and design, to the quality of the product, the installation, and the finished product. We are glad to have made this investment in our home with this company. Many different contractors were contacted, but it always involved selecting all materials that added cost. This company specializes in the patio enclosures and has their own frames (aluminum or vinyl--in 3 colors) with their own glass (single or double paned). Tom, the salesman was excellent, as was Dan (the manager) and the installers were courteous, capable, professional, and experienced. I highly recommend this company. Please keep in mind, however, that you must arrange for your own flooring and electricity and lighting--which is a small price to pay for the installation of a great and a reasonable system."

"Our experience was excellent from the moment we walked into the showroom. Sarah talked with us for a long time and answered all of our questions about the sunroom products. Dan the owner worked with us directly to insure the measurements and options we chose were the best for our situation. Once construction started the crew was clean, fast and most importantly very focused on the quality of their work. Dan was there everyday to insure our questions were answered and that the crew had what they needed. We would highly recommend Calahan to anyone who is thinking about converting their screened in porch to a three season sunroom."

"We could not be happier with our new sunroom. Our existing conditions where our sunroom that was installed required a real installation mechanic to adapt to them and that is just what we got. Thanks for a great job, Carl. He installed our sunroom as if it was his own. From our initial visit with Mike at our home and follow-up communications with other team members, everything went smooth!"

"Yes, the job was done beautiful. He was very professional and definitely has the skills and knowledge as a general contractor. He kept me informed and contacted immediately if there were any issues. I highly recommend this company for any home improvement projects."

"IT'S TOO SOON TO RATE PATIO ENCLOSURES. IT TAKES A WHILE FOR ALL OF THE PAPER WORK TO BE COMPLETED WITH THE TOWNSHIP, ARCHITECT, ETC. I CAN NOT RATE THEM UNTIL SEPTEMBER"

"When we first met with Lew Merryfield, our home was a disaster.  Smoke and intense heat had made it necessary to completely gut and restore our home.  It was a time of great despair and confusion.  Lew was very reassuring that his company would be able to handle to assignment and allow us to return to a home that was better than ever, and agreed to bid the job in the format requested.
After the contract was signed the Merryfield Construction Group was very active, and progress was made every week.  We opted to hire our own subcontractors for plumbing and HVAC, and an electrical contractor recommended by the provider.  The provider and their staff worked well with the other contractors and were communicative with us during the process.  A promise to never abandon working on our home for any significant period of time was kept.  Building options and recommendations were presented at appropriate times and were appreciated.  Lew and his brother George worked with us to solve problems that arose and we always felt like it was a partnership and that they took great pride in their work.  Additional work outside the original contract and work change orders were appropriate and reasonably priced.
The fire was one week before Christmas in 2013, and we were able to move back in late October 2014.  Although this time frame was slightly outside of the original estimate, it was not considered unreasonable given the nature of the work and the change orders. After we moved in, the provider has done a nice job on following up any problem areas and punch list items.
We are very happy with our "new" home and are confident that the provider will continue to stand behind the work.  The overall job turned out much better than we could have expected.  Lew and George Merryfield, and their staff, particularly Tom Ferry, Sean, and Scott, were always respectful and friendly, and took obvious pride in their crafts.  In conclusion, we are glad we selected Merryfield Construction Group and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others."

"See above.  Other than being misled by the offer, ie-not realizing that the reason for the appraisal was to obtain a mortgage only, I have no way to rate this service.  Please note, we did not use this service and have nothing negative or positive to say about this company.  Angie's List ought to have an Overall Rating for NA, like they do for the specifics.

"This is the second time we've hired John. He's responsive, punctual and very easy to work with. He cleans the work area daily and his work is impeccable. Before installation of the brick, he had to remove a Corian backsplash. This was his first brick backsplash and we couldn't be happier. In terms of cost, I couldn't tell you if he's high, low or average because he's' the only person I called. Also, the first time we hired him, about 4 years ago, he installed a porcelain tile floor which garners compliments all the time."
