"We engaged Tom based on his very professional presentation in which he said that we would see a detailed spreadsheet of project costs and a computerized timeline of project activities. Tom indicated that he was very concerned about sticking to our budget and completing the project on time. Although we did see a timeline and the project was completed on time (very
important to us) we never saw a detailed spreadsheet of costs. What we got was a word document consisting of a group of aggregated expenses. This budget turned out to be 5% over our target and it proved impossible from it to determine any effective way to reduce the final cost. However despite this initial disappointment we turned out to be very satisfied with our remodeling project. Tom has assembled an extraordinary group of people. His designer Beth created an outstanding set of plans and the crew led by Earle executed them in excellent fashion. They are all experts in their craft and there is nothing they can't do. Several problems arose during the construction phase and they were solved with skill and no appreciable delay. In all this Tom managed the project, did the ordering, made sure that materials arrived on time, saw to it that everyone was on the same page, handled all arrangements with the building management, and did numerous other things that I am probably not aware of. The company is called Total Home Solution and it is just that. Our project involved a complete renovation of a large Condo in a high rise building and Tom provided all the needed trades from wallpaper removal at the outset to flooring at the finish. We were only needed to make material and design choices. When we came to the job site everyone there treated us with great respect and told us that it was important for them to make us happy. We would certainly use Tom again for a future project and recommend him most highly."
