"We closed on a house in January that needed some work on the plumbing. The sump pump didn't work, and the washing machine drained into the laundry tub, which drained into the nonworking sump pump. The main drain had been patched together where it exits the house, and was leaking, which meant that every time a toilet was flushed or water was run, it dripped into a bucket...nice. Needless to say, the smell in the basement wasn't the greatest! In addition, the water meter was old and corroded and needed to be upgraded, and the main shutoff needed to be brought up to code. I also wanted the flexible dryer vent replaced with a safer solid aluminum pipe, and wanted faucets on the laundry tub. We scheduled the initial visit for 8:30 a.m., and Brian actually arrived before I did (we were not yet living in the house). All told it took four visits to finish all of the work, which also had to be coordinated with the managers of the community well to facilitate shutoff of the water to the house. Hedlund arranged that, which involved tracking down a contact person and getting someone to meet Brian at an appointed time. At every visit, Brian and the other plumbers were prompt, courteous, and tried their best to avoid making a mess of the floors, since this was all happening in the winter with plenty of snow, salt and slush to get tracked in. All in all, it was about as painless as something like this could be.

"We had a basement that always had water in it almost year round. We decided to sell the house and move to North Carolina. Still trying to sell the home we decided to have a French Drain System put in with a bleeder line, as it would not sell as it was. The Stay Dry team was excellent from start to finish. Their team was professional and was accommodating to the fact that we needed to keep the home clean due to selling it and took extra steps to ensure no contamination spread to the rest of the house. "I installed a sump pump in the garage. My experience was a pretty bad one. Very slow to perform the job, put the wrong pump in and left all the debris in my garage after he did the work. Took 5 days to take it out after repeated phone calls. In the end he did replace the sump pump and fix the errors. He then said he was going to send someone to put in a metal bracket to anchor pipe to the stairs which has not happened yet after 3 weeks. I was honestly very frustrated and did not bother calling him dozen more times for the small issue. I just ended up doing it myself. I was just being generous giving him 3 stars.think twice before hiring"

My husband and I were able to do the job ourselves, and feel that the company is honorable (which is not often the case in this day and age) and that their interest was in our situation. I am definitely calling them every time a plumbing situation arises."

"Went well to this point of replacing parts. Then the United needed to have a system leak test and then needed freon put in pump. This was refused by Choice warranty. We were left with a partial repair and a heat pump not able to do it's job."

"I think they are a they are kind of a low budget service which is probably adequate for quite a few people but we had a major problem. I don’t know if they were up to it so I had to hire somebody else to finish the work. Their equipment wasn’t up to it and it would have been fine for a minor problem but not for a major problem. They said they could subcontract the job but we chose not to. He came here when he said he would he here. His attitude was nice, he was a hard worker and tried very hard. The sump pump turned out to be good and it has worked fine since then. I don’t recall how much we paid them but it was quite a bit. We had more work to do after they left. They couldn’t give a complete service and were not able to accomplish what needed to be done."
