I searched online for furnace pricing and a very high quality and highly rated piece of equipment averaged around $2500. But my quote for a new furnace with installation was $7500! This is totally unacceptable! Furnace replacement is not rocket science. As a very handy guy, and one who has, first hand, witnessed an installation, $5000 in labor for a 4 to 5 hour job is just way more than this is worth. $1000 per hour is more than lawyers and doctors charge. And there is no flexibility on this pricing. And I don't feel that the months overhead of this company should be charged on each and every installation.
