He discovered the original installer had used silicone (which normally last 7 years mold free, but my house is only 5 years) instead of a sanded grout in an area that required sanded grout (Silver Shadow color) which was contributing to moisture buildup and mold. Joe took the time after the initial quote appointment to source the correct sanded material that matched the existing grout color perfectly. The repair itself only took about 1.5 hours, and everything looks seamless now. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.
