"George came out personally to give me a quote for installing a top coat of 2" of asphalt on my existing asphalt driveway, which was wavy and had a number of dips and holes in it. The morning of the install, George's crew showed up early and got to work. They were clean and very well organized, and the final product looks terrific. I finally have a flat, properly sloped driveway!"

"John and his team did an excellent job with the gut renovation of our large tiled shower. He took the time to diagnose what had caused the cracking and shifting in our original concrete pan to make sure the rebuild would not have the same issues down the road. Tiling, grouting, trim, and moulding installation was exacting and looked great. While John was doing the shower we also asked if he could do several other completely unrelated jobs (re-build old, unsafe basement stairs, wire a socket and switch for a new light fixture, patch ceiling drywall) and he did a great job with those as well. Communication was very easy throughout the process - John always kept us aware of any issues and consulted with us immediately on decisions. We will be working with John and his team again."

"Our experience with Romano Roofing was great from the first visit for a quote, to the final finished product. We called Romano last February after our roof began to leak, which was frustrating since another roofing company had installed new skylight to correct a previous leaking issue. Jay came out and after inspection, informed us that the wrong type of skylight and shingles had been installed on our flat roof, which is why we had leaks. We wondered why the prior roofing company had not come to the same conclusion and had us pay for the wrong type of product, as well as the installation. We liked the fact that Jay not only came out to give us a quote, but that he also knew what he was talking about since he also does the work. We trusted his knowledge and had all the skylights replaced (4), as well as replacement of the shingles on the flat roof portion of our house. It has been 9 months since the installation (performed efficiently, with everything swept up and cleaned each day of the project), and we have had no repeat of the leaks or any other issues that were present before the work. Also, every person that I spoke to at the company, from Jay to the administrative staff, were always helpful and pleasant to speak with. Will definitely call Romano in the future when we are ready to complete the rest of the “non-flat” portion of our roof."

"The decision to hire Jimmy and his team at Hammer Head Group was a great one. Every facet of the job, from our initial consultation to the final clean up, was professional and easy. Jimmy helped us choose our wall colors and finish and he also sanded the floors and applied multiple stains and finishes so my wife and I could find just the colors we wanted. The paint team spent 2 full days prepping the walls before any paint was applied. The floor/stairs team sanded everything back to bare wood and my floors look better than when I moved in 20 years ago. Thank you for giving my home a new look and a new life."

"Sal has a beautiful showroom. His assistant was extremely helpful in picking out the tile I needed for the shower and stone floor(s). Sal and his brother did the installation work in a timely fashion. They came to the job on time, worked quickly, cleaned up and were very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend them."

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Philadelphia, PA

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
