"My wife and I hired All Star Contractors to convert an attached garage into living space (about 250 sq ft) and we had an outstanding experience with them. Bill managed every step of the process (design, permitting, build) honestly and fairly, with excellent communication and reasonable pricing. The end result is exactly what we had hoped for. We first reached out to the company with a general idea of what we wanted to accomplish, and our budget. Bill understood what we wanted, and made many useful suggestions to help us create a room that was both aesthetically pleasing and practical, within the budget. The building process lasted about five weeks, with daily work done entirely by two members of Bill’s team (Derek and Mike), with Bill checking in daily to monitor progress. Having the same three people in our house allowed for excellent communication, and it was obvious how dedicated they were to their craft. Any time in the evening we’d see something that concerned us, we’d raise it with them the next morning and invariably they’d show they were already ahead of us and on their way to addressing our concerns. It made us extremely comfortable knowing that the end result would be excellent. As with any project, we considered small revisions in the middle of the process. They finished our basement in 9 or 10 days.  Offered ideas that were better then ours or a couple of things. Also, did exactly what we asked on everything else. The basement is perfect! 
We had so many other estimates from companies on Angie's list and from our local paper. They were priced very high, we thought, for what we wanted. Then we met John,  we were very happy with him. his price was right where we thought it should be.
John and his son even finished the capping on our windows and french door that the installers had left unfinished.
Our only regret is that we didnt hire them to build our deck!! LOL
We will be hiring John again for other projects we have in mind!!
