We can do almost anything and we do it right. From framing to finish carpentry. Cabinetry. Base case crown and chair rail. Drywall and paint. Light electrical and plumbing. Everything in between. Call -or- click to schedule a free estimate today!
"I had Mark the owner of AZTRADEPROS come and install a custom bar top for me. I needed something simple yet stylish. He spent about 35 hours on it and I paid him for those 35 hours. He helped me get materials and save the most money by coming with me and helping me purchase it. We ended up with pretty much zero scrap. Everything we bought was used. We made use of his truck a lot which was great. Lots of wood working. It came out exactly as I had hoped and his presence was very enjoyable throughout the process. Very courteous, communication was great, cleaned up after himself, checked in with my often to ensure things were moving in the direction I had preferred, so each hour of his time was put to the best use. I will be hiring him for small other small jobs and keep him in my contacts as a great all around handymen. He has lots of stories of his prior work and he takes passion in whatever he does. Anything that you need a handyman for he could do it no problem. I reccomend, happy customer."

"Unfortunately our experience with Ray was not a pleasant one and this review is being posted to make sure people are aware of the type of work he provides. We hired Ray on February 03, 2025 after walking him through our home and showing him the work we wanted done prior to us moving in. The requested items were to: 1. Paint the inside of the house which he quoted us at $1000 2. Replace baseboards throughout the house for $500 3. Remove double doors in the master bedroom that led to another bedroom and close up that space for $10004. Install kitchen cabinets for $3000 5. Do some work on the patio such as paint and trim for $500. The total came in at $6000, this price was for labor only. We agreed we would provide all the materials he needed to complete the work. He asked for a deposit of 50% but we ended up giving a deposit of $2500 in good faith to begin the work. Two weeks into the contract, we noticed that the work was not getting done as quickly as Ray had promised he would have it completed. We had given Ray a key to come in as needed since we weren't living in the home yet. However, we found that he sometimes wouldn't show up to the house and we would have to reach out for an update. He had gotten sick but he said he would work over the weekend and at night if need be in order to have the work completed by the time we needed to move in. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued to work with him. The following week we again saw very little progress, when we asked for an update Ray was reluctant to provide one. We informed him that we would need some communication in order to reassure ourselves that the work will get done. 3 weeks into the contract and the only work that had been completed was a closed off wall, some paint in the 3 of the bedrooms and the 4th bedroom was mostly untouched. In order to speed things up before our move in, we hired another contractor to start on the kitchen (line item #3). We informed Ray this was happening and listed out what we needed him to complete before we moved in. He agreed but once again the amount of hours he put into his work were minimal, he would show up for 1-3 hours a day. He also started to take some of his tools home, saying he didn't need them to complete the work he was doing on the home. Over the weekend of March 1st, we ended up moving in with some of the bedrooms uncompleted. We spent the weekend painting part of the house we would be occupying so we could move our things in without getting paint on them. Ray showed up to work and started to paint another part of the house but the following day (a Friday) he didn't show up. We texted him if he was going to come to the house and he responded with a question, asking if it was raining outside, implying it was too humid to paint. Even though there was still plenty of work to do such as the baseboards and small other items he agreed to do to make up for the fact that we painted 1/3 of the house. This brings us to the week of March 10th, 5 weeks later from the date we hired him and he still hadn't completed line items 1 & 2. He showed up to work the following week, completed 2 baseboards and left after just two hours of work, leaving work uncompleted and took the remainder of his tools without saying a word. We messaged Ray 2 more times, to try to reach an amicable agreement on the work that was left undone. We asked for a partial refund but the only response we received was that he did other work not listed on the invoice. We asked for him to elaborate on this work and he did not respond. We also still haven't received our house key. "

I specialize in doing concrete, but I do a little bit everything. I paint, I can install cabinets, vanities, ceiling fans, patio doors, security doors, screens for windows, hang blinds, and home repairs such as fixing wholes in walls, light plumbing like fixing toilets, sink faucets. I am not an electrician but I am knowledgeable on some electrical work. There is a travel charge for anything over 25 miles.
"The Angi Team advised that I leave a 1 star review until this is resolved. I really really do not like to leave bad reviews ever but work is not completed and during the dates agreed to, and this is a rental and I am losing money every day that the work isn't complete. There is some work that needs to be fixed and some that is damaged and needs to be redone. I will remove this negative review once this is all addressed and resolved."

The ideal depth for a root cellar depends on your local frost line and climate conditions. The goal is to achieve a consistent temperature between 32°F and 60°F year-round. In warmer southern regions, you may need deeper excavation or supplemental cooling systems, while northern areas focus more on preventing freezing.
Understanding your soil composition and water table is essential for determining appropriate depth and drainage needs to maintain a stable environment for your stored produce.
Most municipalities require permits for root cellar construction, particularly for projects involving excavation or structural modifications. Permit costs range from $1,200 to $2,000, depending on your location.
The application process often requires submitting detailed plans showing drainage solutions and structural elements. Checking local regulations early in your planning process helps avoid potential fines or construction delays, especially for projects near property lines or those requiring utility connections.
Professional root cellar construction spans several weeks, with timelines varying based on design complexity and weather conditions. The process includes initial excavation, foundation work, structural construction, ventilation installation, and finishing touches. Permit processing and inspections add to the timeline.
Working with experienced professionals results in more efficient completion compared to DIY approaches, though seasonal factors and contractor availability can affect scheduling.
Concrete represents the most common material choice for permanent root cellars due to its durability and moisture resistance. For above-ground structures, properly sealed pressure-treated lumber offers good performance at lower cost.
Effective insulation is crucial regardless of construction type, with different materials suited to various climate conditions. Quality doors with proper seals help maintain consistent internal conditions, while corrosion-resistant hardware ensures longevity in humid environments.
Most produce stores work best at humidity levels between 80% and 90%. A hygrometer (costing approximately $25) helps monitor conditions accurately. For low humidity, placing containers of water or damp materials in the cellar can increase moisture levels.
When humidity rises too high, improving air circulation through adjustable vents helps reduce excess moisture. Different crops may require varying humidity levels, so organizing your storage accordingly helps optimize preservation. Regular maintenance prevents condensation buildup and potential mold issues.
