"We were scammed! This is a horrible company to deal with. We paid an expectational amount of money for what we thought would be superior workmanship and materials. They put our siding up once. During the time they were putting it up, obvious issues were missed and the workmanship was very poor. We communicated this to the Manager and the worked continues. Finally they sent a regional manager after months of dealing with this. They took the siding all down and replaced it. Issues still existed, and we were told we can deal with it through Warranty. They offered a concession because the job was so bad, then told us I apologize for the delay in my response. I was able to speak with my manager, and unfortunately, we will not be able to provide a concession. Should any service issues arise in the future, your warranty will cover the repairs. Exxx Bxxxxxxx Lxxx Rxxxxx Axxxx Ixxxxxxxxxxx Mxxxxxx; Communication was poor the entire time and it took us almost 5 months. DO not use this company. I am surprised Angi has them on their website. Customer service is very low on Champion Windows priority list. St6ay away, do the research and you will find this is not the only complaint."

"I hired Paul Davis to lay laminate flooring in my kitchen and hallway. My ice maker coil leaked that lead to my kitchen walls, kitchen floors, hallway, and my small bathroom to get wet. This claim started in Nov of 2021. I got an estimate from Paul Davis from my insurance company. To pull the cabinets out in my kitchen to repair the wall, put the cabinets back in, redo the trim in the small bathroom, lay the flooring, etc... It was close to 5000. The only documents or paperwork given to me about the cost and work that needed done was the estimate. In it, documented my small bathroom being redone with trim, the washer and dryer area being redone with drywall, counters, trim, etc.... Originally, we thought my kitchen cabinets had to be pulled out to repair a wall that got wet, but just taking off the counter, we found out, there was no wall, (there's no wall, to be fixed with no cabinets pulled out and back again to be charged).... More then half of the work did not get done. I received, finally, a bill after a month and half. It was NOT an itemized bill like I asked! It just has what is due which is around 4600. Ok. I asked for an itemized bill because after dealing with them for a few months, I knew, they would overcharge. If an itemized bill can not be issued, clearly there's charges on it that should not be charged. This was one of the most stressful and terrible experiences of my life. The first time that someone came out to do work, was a man and a woman. She said that she was still training. All they did was take off my kitchen counter to try to look at the kitchen wall to see if it was damaged. It turns out, a previous owner had that part of the wall removed. It must of flooded and got wet at a different time. There was just a small piece of the wall from under the sink that had mold that I pointed out. I said I would paint it with mold primmer. The guy said he was leaving to get mold primmer spray paint. I did not think spray paint was a good idea, the spot was small and could be reached with a paint brush. He got primer and missed the spot and got paint on the inside of my cabinets. Then he put the counter back on not even flush against the wall and my paint chipped and cracked around the counter. The only part of the wall that needed repaired was a small area behind my fridge. He really replaced a small amount of drywall then mudded it, then told me to sand it and paint it and left. These people did a terrible job. The girl was new. These were not highly trained and skilled employees and the job was small and done horrible. This charge should not be crazy high. I have pics. Then the paint and floor guy was suppose to come out and never showed up. Finally, the painter was calling me at work, like three times saying he's on his way to paint! Nobody scheduled this appointment. I had to leave work! Then I asked before the work even got started if I could pick up the paint color and flooring. Yea that's a joke. I had to pick a color on the phone! So I just said like an off white!!!! Who picks a color on the phone! He didn't fix the counter and painted an area that looks like he put concrete on the wall because it was so thick. He missed a part of the wall. I ended up repainting most and painted all my trim, door, window, etc.... He didn't even prep the walls. He even said yea, I'm suppose to wait between coats and do so many, but.....I got to get it all done in a day. Oh ok super. The floor people didn't show again. Then, they would just pop up whenever. It took days for 3 people to do that..... All they did was smoke cigarettes and fight. They were not highly trained or ever even laid that material either. They had to remove my old tiles and concrete the floor. Of course they waited to do under the dryer and washer last. It was wet and they had to finish that day and just laid that on wet ground and didn't concrete under that. Then when they removed my trim, they tore my wall! They didn't do all the door transitions which oh I'm sure I got charged for them! They even had a door transition ordered and it wasn't even for my house and I am pretty sure I payed for that! When they got down they would wait in my house laying on the floor for a ride even sleeping! They took the Menards rebate when I payed for the supplies! After he charged me even more for my flooring when they took a sample and did an estimate then charged me like double! I even broke up and trashed my laminate flooring. They even put trash in my outside garbage can but charged me to get rid of materials! My tiles cracked because it took them so long to start working. I work third shift, I would have to rush home then not sleep and this was for weeks. At one point, I got a call, they were dropping off my flooring so I had to get home!!!! Or I guess it would be left outside! I had to guess what, leave work again!I was even scared to sleep because I could get robbed because one dude woke me when I slept once asking me about my collection in a different room!! Finally I said don't do the trim, you have messed up everything! Then they wanted to use my old baseboards but charge me ? He then told me to pick between baseboards or trim. I said no so he said he won't put trim just new baseboards and he will be so kind to take half the cost and I just need to pay 100 more!!!! I went and brought trim and new baseboards and it was a total of 150! Including more wall covering to try to cover my torn wall! Then he had me sign some paper and not sleeping for days, I was worn out. I just signed because I couldn't fight. Then I realized after he left, that probably was retyped and not the original estimate and he just had me sign that to force me to pay him in a contract and was rewrote to not include everything because he left with it and I didn't get a copy! That guy was manipulating and trying to charge a single mother with no child support a fortune because he was playing mind games lying. He would keep changing the price on everything. I could write so so so much more, I paid my bill knowing I just got screwed. This is a horrible company. I do not recommended them. In order to fix all their mistakes in just the hallway, I had to remove my wallpaper, fix the walls, and paint the walls! Then since my counter was not flush against my kitchen wall and there was not caulk or anything to stop water from trickling down the wall behind my sink, it smells like mold under my sink when you open the cabinets, exactly what I told the company would happen!!!!! This company even showed up at my mom's house asking about a fire she just had asking for work! I was sitting right there like really! Don't hire them!!!! I have to hire someone to fix my counter! I want to sue them!"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Pierceton, IN

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
