"I joined Angie's List to find a provider for this project. I had a crack in the bottom of my tub and needed to get it fixed or replaced. <br /> The reviews for Neighborhood Plumber were all good and my experience mirrored all the good things I read before contacting them. Larry was prompt in returning my query and came out to give me a free estimate. We discussed what could go wrong (might have to cut the wall to get it in the small space) and what to expect. He gave me good advice about deciding on the quality of materials and a cost and time estimate that was right on the money (low end of the estimate, even!) <br /> He offered to email me pictures of the tubs and surrounds available at the local big box stores and also price the same or better at his warehouse supplier. I got an itemized receipt for the exact materials, prices about $100 less for the total than what I had estimated at the local home supply store. <br /> We set a date (he was able to get me on the schedule within 7 days) and he and his helper arrived exactly when they said they would and got to work. Everything went just like we hoped. No wall cutting, no electrical issues (the panel for the house was very close to the back of the tub) and the only remaining issue is doing the minor drywall work around the surround edges and then painting. We talked beforehand and agreed that dealing with the drywall and quot;fixesand quot; would be a separate job for someone else. <br /> I am thrilled with the project. Talk about coming in on time and under budget. The total cost was exactly what he said the low end would be and they finished in one day, just like they were planning. They were careful to keep the mess contained and they cleaned up after themselves. I can highly recommend this plumber. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The price was fair and they were able to start almost immediately. Asked the installer multiple times to cover his work area as to not scratch our new wood floors. Of course, he scratched the floors in multiple places. Attempted to contact the owner and he was non responsive on the issue. The unit was installed in September, come October and need to turn the heat on for the first time and there was loud clanging and metal noises. Called to have someone from this company service the unit on Friday afternoon and was told that “it isn’t that cold that it would be Monday before we could look at it” (it was 40 degrees and this is a BRAND NEW unit). Brought up that had we went with a larger company they would send someone out and they do not work after hours or weekends and was basically told you get what you pay for. I would not use this company again in the future. Will probably regret making this post when we need service again in the future."

"Five Stars Mr. Broussard is an expert General Contractor. I have known his company for 10 years. An Insurance claim brought him to our home 10 years ago. On this 2020 remodel project, every specialized workman or work woman that he scheduled and sent to our home to complete a task, was the best in the business. He monitored the remodel personally from the onset to the finished room. I could not have asked for anything more. I would hire him again."

"<p>While replacing an upstairs sink faucet, the plumber noticed a dampness and slight mist coming from the area where the water pipe entered the wall.   I called Jeff at Sherwood Home Improvement to work with the plumber and repair the pipe that had a pinhole leak.  The repair entailed removing a portion of the sheetrock wall in the downstairs dining room to get at the problem.   Jeff was not only responsive, but coordinated with the plumber and tenant and had the problem fixed in no time.  He also worked with the plumber to consolidate the bill for all work, making it much easier for me to manage this property.</p>"
