"I called for an inspection and consult and the owner just happened to be working on a job in the area.  He came over within an hour or two after my call.  He went over the whole chimney system and advised me on a number of issues and options.  I had done a lot of research on the issues I thought I had, and he confirmed most of my fears, yet provided me with a great deal of information and options.  I feel like the quote was fair, although I cant afford the work YET... Everything was clearly explained beforehand, with an eye on keeping costs under control while not compromising the necessary quality of the job. I was made aware of possible unforeseen complications that could arise once the work started, but none of these happened and there were no additions or overages to the price quoted. Once the work began they finished promptly on schedule and cleaned up as soon as possible. The owner, Loiue Ranieri, is terrific guy, friendly and easy to work with. In fact, he kindly did a couple of minor non-chimney house repairs for me at no cost. We’d been referred to Ranieri by a carpenter who’d recommended them, and we’re very glad he did. "It went smoothly from contract to finish. I had preferred an earlier start date for job, however, Nate Sondrini came started when promised and finished in a timely way. Workmen were neat with storing supplies and any trash- no cigarette butts in the garden. Job was exact and roof was tight. My chimney's were wanting care, so Sondrini pointed , repaired and suggested a cap for our smaller one sending me digital pictures of caps to choose. . When there were some questions about their condition, or the repair he sent me pictures by phone of what he was referring to so I had a visual during the discussion. Very happy with responsiveness for administrative end of job and satisfied with quality of workmanship. Pricing was fair - he came in around, or slightly lower than, other bids for this job. Will be using them to do another repair on my roof this summer! <br />"

"From the outset Chris strove accommodate all our requests. After reviewing many color samples we had chosen a Pewter color of shingle which was not available locally. Chris said he would do what he could to get it within a day he called to say he was able to get it specially delivered from PA. Chris and his crew were very professional through each stage of the job. He was on the job site every day and was always punctual. At the end of each work day all the materials were neatly stacked and organized and never was the site anything other than neat and tidy. This house was built in the early 40's by our grandfather and has been in the family through 3 generations. It has multiple dormers and angles, so finding a roofer with the hard-work ethics and attention to detail that Chris provided was very important to us. The end result is beautiful and we would recommend C. B. And Sons with no reservations."
