"We have worked with other carpet stores over the years and are fortunate to <br /> have found Carpet Carousel on Angie’s List. We needed to recarpet the upstairs <br /> study which is reached through a “floating” spiral staircase. Both the study <br /> and the treads of the staircase had to use the same material. <br /> <br /> We first had a store we were familiar with take a look. They initially <br /> weren’t sure how they would carpet the treads of the spiral staircase or how <br /> they would move the furniture to carpet the study. I then found Carpet Carousel <br /> on Angie’s List and Shawn came over. He immediately figured how to carpet the <br /> treads and move the furniture. We then visited their show room where Shawn <br /> showed us a number of samples that could work. We took a few with us and made a <br /> decision. In the meantime, we got a quote from the other carpet store and <br /> nearly fell over – it was just about twice the price of Carpet Carousel. <br /> <br /> The installation was excellent. The two men doing the job were punctual <br /> and knew exactly what to do. After the job was done, the area was vacuumed and <br /> the furniture replaced. "Melrose Oriental Rug did a fantastic job cleaning, and they were transparent and reasonable with the price and process. They did especially impressive work with a beautiful carpet from the 1930s that mice had decided to make a home in. You'd never know they were there. Since we were new to carpet ownership, they were very kind about advising us in terms of care and binding up some loose edging and fringe. Will definitely go back to them when it's time to clean again, or if we buy a new one."

He also gave us some good advice and we ended up going with a Berber carpet for our busy living room that's been exactly the right choice for us. The crew who showed up to install the carpet was on time, quick, and professional.  <br /> I called Nicky again the day before a big snowstorm. Someone had suggested carpet tubes as a way to keep a toddler busy, and Nicky wasn't at all fazed when I asked if I could have one. He sent over two tubes and even threw in some carpet squares (one of which is 3' x 8' and perfect for my hallway). My son was thrilled to roll his balls and trains down the carpet tubes, and I was thrilled that it kept him entertained when we were snowed in. <br />"

"I have used this company twice to do my carpets and was amazed at how they can get the carpets so clean. I had stains from 5 plus years ago that are now gone. Carpet is 20 years old and looks amazing. Craig did my carpets this time on 12-4-17 and did an awesome job. Very friendly and personable. For the price paid its definitely worth the money. "I'll start off with a little back story. I originally wanted to purchase from a big box store, but learned that the install process was hit or miss. Some people liked their install experience, others did not. Because of this, I decided to shop local and found Framingham Carpet via Angie's list. Carol and Chuck were excellent to work with. Carol helped match the color we wanted for the install. Turns out it was the same manufacturer as the big box store. A couple days later, Chuck came out to measure carpet, answer questions, and provide a quote on the spot. After purchasing we scheduled the install (about two weeks later). The installers showed up right on-time. They were friendly and explained everything they were going to do and did an excellent job. They left the house as clean as it was before the install. Next time I need to purchase flooring, I will be visiting Framingham Carpet Center!"

"I needed new carpet for a house I'd just bought. I had visited several highly rated carpet shops and the Rug Merchant was by far the best. The team at Rug Merchant spent a great deal of time with me helping me to understand what type of carpet would be best for the spaces. They helped me choose carpet colors/patterns that work together and with my paint. They were also very helpful in identifying lower cost options for my basement. I found it very challenging to get this kind of advice and service from other stores. In addition, the Rug Merchant's prices were very competitive. <br /> The installation team was fantastic too. It was a pleasure to have these guys in my house and they were absolute perfectionists, despite the fact that my house is really challenging (concrete floors, curved walls, etc). <br /> I would highly recommend the Rug Merchant! <br />"

"Called Jim and explained the situation with our wall to wall carpeting in our upstairs bedrooms and hallway. He said that was something he could take care of and we made an appointment for the following week. Jim was right on time friendly and professional. The damaged section was in the doorway from the bedroom to the hall, approx 5x10 inches right were the seam is between the two rooms. The carpeting was installed 12 years earlier by the prior owner and there was no left over carpeting to replace the damaged section. So Jim cut out a section of carpeting from the back of our closet that no one sees and stiched in the good carpeting in the doorway and the damaged carpeting he installed into the back of the closet. Approx 2 hours or so in time. He did a great job!! Quality work and I thought his pricing was excellent. I would absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to others. <br />"

"I am writing this review a few years late (sorry) but I've been meaning to do it for a long time. Harry's gets my highest recommendation.  Here's why:  they had to lay the carpet down in two sections that meet up in the middle of the room - because it's such a big room.  The place where the two carpets met showed a slight seam.  I pointed this out.  It was very minor and would probably not be noticed by the casual observer. Anyway, they went back to the manufacturer and agreed to redo the job, with no hassle and no charge. The service was exceptional-- way better than what I might have expected.  Thank you Harrys! <br />"
