"This company was great. It was try number 5, after dealing with hard sells to rip up my basement floor taking hours, upsells, price increases, false warranties, wasting my time, this company was a breath of fresh air. They gave me a price (which was good) over the phone of which they honored. They did not try to upsell me at all, but simply offered me a choice, I could use Epoxy or the foam. They explained why the foam was better, and since had a lifetime warranty on either, we just used the foam. The guy did the work right there on the spot, and was done a few hours later, leaving no mess. We just had a huge rain, and no leaks... dry basement. These guys are the ones to hire... no sales people to waste your time measuring and calculating... just the person who does the work giving you an honest assessment and then doing it. Nice to see some of those still exist!"

"Excellent work at a very fair price. Capa Construction (Tom) was great to work with. His quotes were very thorough and very competitive, the work was done on-time as scheduled, and completed with very high quality. We are planning to use Capa Construction for other jobs now. We are definitely happy with our experience for both jobs - roof replacement and chimney repair."

"It started out very good. They were there when promised and removed the old patio concrete. There was one problem though. The person driving the tractor hauling the old concrete must've been in too much of a hurry to pay attention to my boarder blocks on the side of my garage. He hit them and moved the end corner and broke the top block. The rest of job went ok until the concrete had dried and they removed the forms. I made the mistake of giving Jaime the balance of the money before everything was cleaned up. They left my back yard looking like a new construction site. All the grass was dead and tire indents from the heavy equipment used were all over. I asked Jaime if this is how he left an established residential job(like new construction). He tells me they were very busy but he would get it fixed. Also, he needed to get some dirt.(I feel this should've have been in the original estimate) It took 2 weeks!! Had I not given him the balance I'm sure it would've been finished much sooner. I had to pay extra for 4 yards of dirt for them to clean up their mess. And, the dirt he brought was FULL of a weed I had never seen before. I had to bring a picture to someone who knew about plants to get something to kill it. It's worse than dandelions. Overall the patio looks nice, with the exception of a crack at one corner of an expansion seam. Which in the contract it states that this can happen. One other note I feel is worth mentioning. I disconnected my hose from the house but left the quick connect splitter on the water valve. I come home from work one day to find the splitter off the house and on the ground about 6ft away from the house( this was going in someones pocket, but he got interrupted). I told Jaime about this and the look in his eyes, he knew. There was NO reason to take this $10 part off the house water supply. If you're going to use Landscrete make sure someone can be there to over see."

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Plano, IL

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
