"I made an appointment with McDonagh to install a faucet, as I had a new sink installed with new countertops. Another company installed the sink and countertops but could not reconnect the faucet, and they told me that's all that needed to be done. When McDonagh got here they realized that this was not a simple faucet reconnection, but I needed new pipes, a reconnection of the disposal, and I had some parts missing from the previous installation, etc. Instead of a quick half hour job they were looking at 3 hours of work. They had another important job to get to, but since it was Friday they didn't want to leave me without water in the kitchen for the entire weekend till they could come back. They completed my job while constantly fielding calls to keep the other job going and on time, trying to keep two customers happy. I very much appreciated the effort as they could easily, and accurately, have told me that they were not given enough information to schedule the time needed to complete my job. "Water heater is working fine. Nick and his worker came in on Tuesday at the scheduled time. They tore out the old shower and removed the waste immediately. Precautions were made to protect our flooring by use of drop cloths. Did an inspection of the flooring to check for any mold or water damage to the floor. At any given time he brought us in to see what he was doing and what he was replacing. Prior to installing the shower head he raised it because my husband, being tall, would benefit from the raised height. He made recommendations as to which color and size of the tiles to be used. All procedures were done in a timely manner, but wasn't a rushed job. We were very pleased with the way the bathroom was cleaned after each day. When he came back today to seal the shower I asked him if he could out up a cd rack on the door for me and he did it very easily. We highly recommend Nick's Home Improvement and are very pleased with everything he has done for us. Nick is a keeper.
