But that was taken care of by some more design work. They really did a great job. Next came the actual building of the cover. The workmen were nothing short of artists with a saw and nail gun and paintbrush and roller. No kidding! We love our new patio cover and could not be happier with Mills Family Properties. "Douglass construction repaired issues on the roof that had been there since the house was built and had over the years been the cause of other issues that made it necessary to replace parts of the roof and decking before reshingling could be completed. The job was done in a professional manner and work was done in a very timely manner. There were 2 delays that were out of the control of the construction company. I had picked a shingle that wasn't carried in stock so there was a wait for special order and then the last skid when opened were defective so had to be returned and took 3 days to have them reshipped to finish the job.
