"We recently had a home addition built which included a 16x20 foot screened in three season porch with a wood burning fireplace.  It is a beautiful addition to our home, but one of the unknowns early on in our design process was what type of windows to use.  We did not want to use crank out windows, glass windows, or have to deal with handling and storage of removable windows.  Our builder suggested we consider EZ Screen windows.  I did not want to commit to something I had not researched, so I asked EZ Screen if there was anyone nearby that had bought the product that I could interview.  They put me in contact with someone in my neighborhood who had had the product in his sunroom for 3 years.  He was kind enough to invite me over to view his porch and see the product.  I was pleased with what I learned, and purchased the product for our home addition, which is now complete. <br /> The product consists of a screened panel facing the outside, with several sliding transparent vinyl windows facing the interior of the room.  The windows can easily be slid up or down to enable 75% open screen area.  I was initially concerned about a plastic window not being clear enough, but after seeing them I saw that they are very clear, and my neighbor?s windows (which have been exposed to direct sunlight for several years) still look good. <br /> The window panels are easy to slide up and down and stay in place well.  In fact, about a week after installation we had some very severe storms with high winds in our neighborhood.  No problems.  <br /> The panels are easy to clean with only water and a microfiber cloth.  They are also removable which makes cleaning or replacement easy.  Interestingly they are ductile, which means they can take a big impact, stretch, but recover to the original shape. <br /> There are also several door models to choose from which contain the EZ Screen panels.  They are available in several colors. <br /> I have been very pleased with this product and the service we received from EZ Screen.  I feel this is a quality product and recommend it. <br />"

"Baron Biedenweg of Archadeck gave me a quote to fix a deck that lost support in one corner due to the original poor mounting to a concrete slab. He had a good understanding of the problem and provided various options to fix it and enhance the deck appearance. His details were better than we had received from other bidders.  We decided to repair the concrete mounting <br /> and redo the complete deck and use the existing structure.  We ran into many issues using our existing structure, <br /> such as the angles used were not standard as well as some other anomalies. This resulted in some redoes of part of the deck and stairs. Baron took care of all the anomalies that were a result of using the previous structure. Baron and his <br /> crew were very responsive to every issue and took wherever action to make the deck conform to the structure and look good. He sent emails to keep me informed of scheduling needed to correct any issues. I am very pleased with the overall results.  The aluminum railing was one of his options we selected and it was a very nice enhancement to our previous wooden railing. I think Baron?s costs were higher than estimated due to working with our existing non-standard structure, but he completed the job as bid.  Overall Baron and his crew were very professional and responsive.  I would recommend them for any type of deck work.   Baron was very patient in responding to any concern or change I had.  It has been a pleasure working with Baron and his crew and we would not hesitate in using them on other projects. "Michiana Window World is extremely professional in every respect. <br /> I requested bids to replace my windows from three different contractors - two recommended by local people, and one from Anties List (Michiana Window World). Of the two locally recommended, one ignored me with promises to call back, but not doing so; a second came out (with sidearm), measured windows, but never returned with a quote.  The Window World rep came out with paperwork, measuring tools, and an example window. We saw the product and knew the estimated cost before he left. <br /> We paid 50% up front and scheduled an appointment. Window World later followed-up with us to be sure the date would still work. <br /> When they arrived on the scheduled date, the crew started at 10 AM and had completed their work by 3 PM. There was virtually no evidence that they had even been there. All debris and materials were cleaned up and taken away.  <br /> We have white aluminum siding on our house. Their white vinyl frames and trim worked very nicely.  <br /> The windows have a life-time guarantee and currently we are able to recover about $70/window as an energy savings rebate from the gas company. This was pointed out by the Window World Rep. <br /> Seriously - this company is a MUST when you are requesting a bid on your windows.  <br />"
