"The install was just fine, but the timing was very poor. We ordered the water heater on Monday from Home Depot, and was told that it would be installed on the same day. It was installed on THURSDAY. It would have been better to let me know clearly that the installer was over booked because I stayed home for three days when I had things that I needed to do and was waiting."

"I originally called them to clear my sewer line. I had initially called Roto Rooter and I was displeased with them so I called Bryco. Bryco seems to be very honest. They came out and tried to clean the line as much as they could and used a scope and found that there was a break in the line under my foundation. They figured out where exactly where the break was and advised me to check if I had insurance. They gave me an estimate and explained what they needed to do. I gave the ok and they started the work. They've been very professional and have kept me informed of the progress. They have been considerate in informing us ahead of time when there would be no water available. So far everything seems to be going alright. It is a big project, inspectors needed to be called and is estimated that it will take about 3 weeks (any day now). They've done all the trenching, installed a sewer line clean out for me at my request, which I really appreciated. So far, I am very pleased with their service."

"Today's experience has been like all of the others - responsive, professional, great work, and I always feel like the charges are fair. Travis has been out the last two times (along with another nice gentlemen who I think might be an apprentice), and Alex has taken care of our issues the other times. <br /> I will share some highlights that cross multiple times they have been out. When they arrived today, they began to diagnose immediately, found the problem, and got right to work on it. They located a blockage near my clean out and my septic tank. Once the blockage was cleared, they ran water and tested it. All of this while having to work in some mud underneath a deck where my clean out is located. Total cost so that I could flush my toilets again with confidence - $135. Very fair. <br /> The last time they were out was because of an issue with a leaking garbage disposal. We set an appointment for Friday, they arrived when they said they would, with a new garbage disposal. Quick, professional, and did some preventative work for me as well while they were there. Labor was $95 + $100 for the disposal. <br /> Back in July of 13, I called with an emergency (that happened to be the day before leaving on vacation for one week). One of my sinks was backing up, and it was blocking condensation from my AC unit resulting in water to my drain pan. Alex came out after hours and resolved the problem quickly. Total charge was $142.50 <br /> Finally, the event that started my positive experience with Bracken Plumbing. My problems started in Sept 2012. We were not getting hot water in our master shower, and the kids shower was having similar issues, only getting lukewarm. I had another company out multiple times and paid multiple service calls to fix the issue. Eventually, they told me they would need to cut out the wall behind the shower, replace all of the parts, etc etc. Cost was going to be close to $2k. I called Bracken to get a second opinion. Alex came out for our appointment, and went to work diagnosing it. It was a complicated issue, and he had to make several calls to the manufacturer. He came back out a second time with new parts (that he was able to get the manufacturer to supply even though we did not have warranty because we were not original homeowners that installed it), fixed the problems without cutting holes, and total bill was about $400. <br /> As you can tell, I have a very high opinion of this company. They have pulled me out of some jams, and each time, with a sense of urgency that is appreciated. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber (by the way, have recommended them to a friend who has had similar positive experiences). Big thanks to the plumbers Alex and Travis, and Lisa in their office who schedules (very sweet person). <br />"

"<p>Company is very professional, and the job was done on time and with no issues. The owner personally explained the quotation. A technician came the day before to confirm what landscaping would be disturbed to gain access to the unit (and cleared this with me). The team arrived on time and installed everything as discussed and within the time frame discussed. The old unit was hauled away as agreed. Care was taken while inside the home, not to damage property or leave a mess. Turnaround was very quick (I approved the quotation and they set up installation for the next day). The new unit is functioning well.</p> <br />"

"I contacted MJ Central Texas Septic based on their high rating from Angielist subscribers.  I called them on Wednesday 4/20 to schedule service and they were able to schedule my appointment for the next day.  They showed up on time and pumped the septic tank as requested.  I thought the price was a little high compared to my last pump out, but that was 5 -6 years ago.  Perhaps the increase was appropriate given the price of diesel to run the truck and general inflation.  I would definitely use them again."

"Provider showed up at exactly the time he said he would. He not only pumped the septic system but completely washed down the inside and removed all waste. He explained the process and why he was doing each step. He was professional and I would hire him again. <br />"

"Technicians arrived after but close to the time window originally quoted. They were asked to look at two toilets that were running. The toilets were not running when the main technician looked at them. He said one toilet needed the flapper replaced and provided no information on the other toilet. When I asked for an estimate he said he needed to replace all the internal tank components for both toilets due to lime scale he saw and one toilet would be $347 and the other about $150. When I told him I only wanted the flappers replaced he thought about it and then said "okay $275". He did not provide any breakdown or write up for labor or parts. He offered no explanation for why one toilet was $347 and the other was $150 - if he was replacing everything inside both tanks. Felt as though the estimate was very subjective or made up. I said no thank you and they left. <br /> <br />When I called to make the appointment I asked what the hourly rate was or what the dispatch fee was. They said there wasn't one. Sounded too good to be true. Competitors charging $90 per hour plus parts provided a clear non subjective estimate and were more cost effective <br />"

"My insurance company sent Preferred Plumbing to find the problem to determine what was covered. I was impressed by their ability to quickly determine which line was leaking. Once they did that, they installed a temporary line to restore hot water in the house until I could consult my insurance company. While they were here, they also checked for leaks in the sewer lines, and before leaving they made sure there were no more leaks in any of the water lines."
