"Juan and his crew were punctual, executed great-quality work and left the job site (our back patio) neat each evening. 100% satisfied with our pool remodeling. Of the five remodelers, we only received a list of references and a copy of his bond/insurance from Juan during the bid phase. He was professional, honest and had one of the best prices of them all for the work agreed to."

"Scheduling was simple, helpful. Electrician arrived on time. Installation of first fan began at 8:30 and took about two hours because a switch had to be installed, requiring running a new line and doing work in the attic. Second ceiling fan installation took about 1 hour -- didn't even need to install a box upon which to hang the fan. He then looked at the feasibility of installing a third fan but we decided it was too complicated, this took about a half an hour. Then I asked him to look at the exterior tree lights in the back yard which had stopped working. He said a light sensor had burnt out. Rather than replace that I asked him to put in a switch. That began at 11 and continued until 2:30. He went out and got supplies in that time. Then he spent about 40 minutes writing up the ticket. I was watching the clock and swallowed hard when I realized it was almost $600. I also had to finish the fan installations (putting on blades, light fixtures, etc.) and then clean up the rooms because they were kind of a mess -- which I thought would keep the billable hours down. What really bothered me was that night when I turned on the tree lights they didn't work. I called to complain and the electrician said "well, all I checked was whether current was going up the tree, not whether the lights were working." They wanted to charge me an additional site visit to continue the work. I asked them to fix the light, not put in a switch, if that makes sense. And the overall pricetag was a lot for me to be told that in the end, it wasn't their problem. I called and complained and they did waive the fee and come back -- but they didn't have long enough ladders to fix the lights and at this point I was starting a new job and couldn't be home any more to wait for them to come. I just told them to forget about it."

"Excellent! Ms Helen Griffith came to our home & showed us a number of different options & helped us decide on a product that we liked, and within our budget. She was very professional & helpful without being pushy - a real pleasure to work with. When our blinds came in about three weeks later, the installer was just as professional and pleasant as the salesperson (I forgot to get his name). He stayed until I was satisfied with the installation of all the blinds, tweaking here & there as needed. No complaints whatsoever about either the product, sales process or installation process. Highly recommend."

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Pleasanton, TX

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
