Lo and behold he got the part, installed and checked it out and saved us from having everything in the refrigerator from spoiling. The microwave turned out to be an electrical issue but he explained the possible causes in an understandable way. The person I talked to on the phone was very nice, and even though I had told them that I didn't need work done, they took the time to talk me through what had already been done at my house and what their costing would have been on it. With the "bad" company, I paid $424 for 80 minutes of work and $30-$60 of parts, and when I questioned the bad company that did it to ask for itemization on how this $424 total was calculated, got yelled at for questioning their pricing structure. Randy Lane was upfront about what their labor rates would have been, and I would have probably gotten the work done for $280 or less if done by them. I wish I had worked with them (and will give them a try in the future), and really appreciate that they took the time to talk me through their pricing."
