"Earlier this year, a different contractor installed an egress window well and cover. I was very unhappy with the height of the well and finishing details on the cover. An unfinished board was screwed directly to the siding and the cover was mounted to the board. Original contractor was not really interested in making it right. The only way to make it right was a total re-do. Ivan with A&H Home Improvement looked at it and provided a very fair and reasonable estimate to correct the original installation. He was able to schedule this job within a few weeks. The job involved completely digging out the well, replacing one section of siding, mounting a pvc board to the foundation slightly above the well, and mounting the cover to the pvc board. I am 1,000% (yes really 1,000% not just 100%) satisfied with the end result. Ivan was able to use the same well and cover so the cost of this project was basically labor and a few components (pvc board, screws, bolts). The end result is EXACTLY how I imagined it should look. I am very pleased and would definitely call A&H Home Improvement again for home repairs or future projects."

"Dan determined that our icemaker was out of sync.  He was able to locate a replacement in town on the same day and returned later in the day to install it, working into the evening.  He was very efficient, professional, and polite.  Well-experienced in many types of home repair, he was able to help with repair of our stovetop as well.  When some parts he ordered will arrive, he will be putting those on the stovetop as well. <br /> I will gladly hire Dan again to fix appliances when they need fixing. <br />"

"call Holt around 11:30 the Lady on the phone was very professional and explained they had Rob in the area and would stop this afternoon. Robin arrived about 2:00 and we went to the unit to determine what my noise was. after running and shut down he explained the noise was normal because of the high heat and the fact my 6 year old unit was, a dirty. i asked him to check everything else out and clean the unit, during the checkup Robin discovered a capacitor was running out of range. he explained the cost and i decided to replace while he was here. he finished his testing and then we proceeded to my basement to check the air temps. he discovered we had a whole house fan that should be shut down in the winter, Robin went over my bill and explained their maintenance membership program. I was very pleased with my Holt experience from the first call to Dawn to meeting and having Robin in my home, a very professional approach to a time in the world where customer service is second to some company's."

"My wife and I have worked with several contractors over the past three years to remodel and refurbish the interior and exterior of our house. We’ve been fortunate in our choices of service providers and are pleased with most everyone we’ve worked with. But without doubt, one of our very best choices was Red House Remodeling who helped us plan and remodel most of our first floor. The kitchen and dining room was our biggest project, and thanks to Red House was an absolute success. "My entire home is hard wood floors except for one 5x7 area rug in the living room. And after awhile that rug, even with regular vacuuming, gets pretty dirty (especially with a dog that sheds A LOT). It didn't make send to rent a Rug Doctor for a 5x7 rug, and it certainly didn't make send to buy anything, so I called Springer to take advantage of their service to pick up, clean and then return area rugs. Scheduling a pick-up was quite easy - they were flexible and able to give me a couple-hour wide window of time just a couple days after my call. The estimate was that the rug would be ready and returned in about a week, but actually was ready in just 5 days. Return delivery was equally easy to schedule - in fact the morning I'd scheduled the return I was called and asked if I was home so they could bring it early. <br /> It's a bit pricey when you consider what I paid to clean a relatively small area rug, but the convenience more than makes up for that. Also, everyone I dealt with at Springer was very friendly and professional. I'd definitely use the service again next time my rug needs a deep cleaning."
