"I would give these folks twenty stars if I could. They were professional, thorough and reasonably priced....most of all they provided a solution for a clogged, compromised sewer pipe that otherwise could have been disastrous. My recently purchased house was built in 1968 and soon after moving in, the drain kept clogging. After jetting the line and an initial de-scaling/cleaning attempt, the video that was taken revealed that my sewer pipe under my slab was severely compromised, fractured and with holes in multiple spots. Other tradespeople I spoke with said that my floor and slab would need to be cut open to dig out the old sewer pipe and replace it with PVC---an ENORMOUS expense and undertaking.I am so glad I called Jax Hydro-Jetters. "I wasn’t sure what was wrong as I was just hearing a shorting noise from behind the panel and I’d had lights flicker a couple of times so I submitted a quote request through Angie’s List. Total Comfort was the first to respond and told me they could come by next day. They were up front on their service charges. Electrician was by the next day and at first thought everything looked good except the panel and breakers were old and that I might want to replace at some point. We tried replicating the noise I heard so we turned the heat on to draw more power. Issue was coming from the main breaker. He tried to see if they could get a replacement, but it wasn’t being made anymore. As I have been trying to fix up the house to sell, I authorized the panel replacement. He quoted me $1,200 and told me that they would waive the service charge (price was within range of what I saw from other places). He was there the next day and had everything up and running. Price was as quoted and everything seems to be working fine now."

"We had toilets both stopped up on a Sunday. We called Service Plumbing and the technician came same day! I was very happy. I have a 6 person family household. The technician called and let us know that he was on his way. He was punctu. He came out and assessed our clog, found the problem, and unclogged our drains from the outside. Not only did he do that VERY QUICKLY, he checked our septic tank and SHOWED us where the whole problem was. He could've unclogged the drains, collected, and left. But he knew that we needed more than just to bust a clog.. Not on the technician, but management was professional as well. I strongly recommend. This is an honest company with great prices. Call around and find out for yourself. But don't say I didn't tell you so."

"We called United Water Restoration Group ("United") about 3-4 weeks after we had a blocked a/c drain that caused a leak. We wanted to make sure that some black material in the area was not mold and that there was no hidden residual water in the walls that could cause a mold problem. We selected United based on a testimonial from Joe Rose on WQAM. I didn't check Angie's List until after I made the appointment. If I had read the prior reviews first, I probably would not have given this company a chance. I am happy to report that our experience with United was totally positive. I called requesting information and promptly received a call back from Dave. He came to our house the following morning at the time that I chose and arrived punctually. He examined all the affected areas and listened to my concerns and explained the procedures that would be necessary to assess possible problems and quoted a price (probably competitive) for those procedures. He was knowledgeable and professional throughout the visit. We agreed to have his coworker Miguel come out with equipment to perform the procedures. Miguel arrived in less than thirty minutes and was also knowledgeable and professional. I was asked to sign a terms of service agreement which clearly stated exactly what was to be done for the price. The agreement was totally straightforward and did not attempt to obligate me for additional procedures or charges. Miguel and Dave worked together and brought in a vacuum to clean up the work area when they were finished. We were fortunate that no mold or residual water was found in our home. We are always skeptical in situations where problems or damage might be overstated in order to increase the cost of the solution or repair. We found Dave to be refreshingly honest as well as polite and cordial and would definitely call United again if we have any leaks or flooding in the future."
