"I had Strong Built install a refrigeration ac & furnace unit in my home on April 6 & 7, 2023. The Strong Built team consisted of: Manny GM, Chris Barr install manager, Nick & Alex install team, Chris Sinseneros & Felix aeroseal team and Marcos & Chris Dominguez electrical. Although, I have had a lot of bad/negative experiences in hiring and dealing with contractors, that is what I expected more of when I hired Strong Built to install my refrigerated ac unit. Needless to say, Strong Built proved me wrong. Strong Built employees made me feel very comfortable dealing with them, encouraging me to ask questions (of which I asked a lot of questions). Any requests that I made of them, sometimes I asked more than once to pay attention to a certain request, I was responded to with politeness and respect. Never did I get the impression that they were doing me a favor by servicing my requests. All of Strong Built's employees were very pleasant to deal with & their professional quality is hard to match. "The technician arrived promptly.  We walked through the house to look at what was to be done, and I provided him with a written list (which I never saw again). The actual patching was very well done, but the texturing on about half the patches was not very good. I felt the need to remind the technician about some of the patches, and I had to touch up about three of the deeper patches later. Cleanup was reasonably well done with a broom and dustpan, except for one of the patches where there were bits of old drywall left on the floor. After I vacuumed, all was again in order.  I had the feeling that the quality of cosmetic work became lower as time went on.
In summary, the structural part of the patches was very well done, but the cosmetic part of the job was not.

Bath Fitters was responsive and sent an estimator to our home to show what they could do improve our old tub and master shower.  It was a lot more expensive than I anticipated and the shower stall in the master bathroom was just as expensive as the full tub replacement in the family bathroom.  Strange, because we put safety bars in the full bath.  It took three weeks to get the custom order materials delivered, but boy was it worth it! 

My shower door is beautiful; it looks like something out of the design magazines (clear glass, not a lot of chrome, thoroughly modern).  The master bath looks beautiful and I could not be happier or more proud of our redesign.  The greatest thing is that Bath Fitters also replaced our bath plumbing and fixtures.  They found a spot in the shower with mildew in the wall and halted work.  After getting it inspected by a licensed plumber, we were able to validate that it was not an outside leak.  After the wall was dry, the Bath Fitter technician removed the damaged material, and still finished the entire job on time. 

I called later about a cosmetic concern that I thought might be more serious.  The Technician showed me the problem and ensured that the fix was acceptable before he left my home.  I could not be happier with my decision to remodel the tub and shower.  I feel like my 1980's home just finally came into the new millennium!
