"I was very pleased with my experience with TLC.  I was frantic to find someone to come out same day to clean up carpet stains left by our dog and to remove the odor.  Our dog had gotten into something that did not agree with her tummy and left us quite a mess on our carpet.  TLC was extremely responsive and said they could send someone out same day between 12-2pm.  The technician arrived shortly after noon and immediately got to work.  I also liked the fact that when I called and when the technician came they both informed me that there is no guarantee of pet stains coming out 100% and that they could reappear.  They wanted to be honest with me of this fact since many companies will not tell you this.  After about 20-30 minutes I was asked to check the location and whether I was satisfied.  The stains were gone and the smell was gone!  I was very pleased with the service, the professionalism of the technician, and the price.  I would definitely use them again! <br />"

"Currently selling my home and was worried the condition of the carpets would require a concession. However, CleanMaster brought my worn carpets back to life. My 15-year old carpet doesn't look "brand new" (they're not magicians... or maybe they are?), but now my carpets no longer stand out as an eyesore. I'm extremely satisfied!"

"Mel & Marco are wonderful to work with and did an excellent job on our carpets and floors.  Our tile floors look brand new as they cleaned the grout and the tile.  One area that was white tile with what appeared to be black grout turned to white and cream - amazing transformation!  They also clean all our carpets and took extra care with our furniture after to ensure everything was safe.   Will definitely use them again in the future! <br />"

"We've contracted with Celina Floors for everything from VCT installation to corridor and stairwell carpeting in common areas of commercial buildings to restroom tile to residential laminate wood plank flooring. Rick has been a preferred vendor of ours for over ten years and has been consistant in his workmanship, selection, hard work and pricing. This company has completed too many jobs over the years for us to count. There have been one or two minor issues and Rick and his staff always remedy the situation in a timely and satisfactory manner."

"Sales person was knowledgeable and patient helping us choose a product. He was on time for measurement. <br /> When installers arrived, there was confusion about whether baseboards were to be removed and reinstalled. Sales person had said they would be. Installer balked that they would not look good when complete. After a call to office, the sales person agreed there would be no charge, and we elected to proceed with removal and reinstall. <br /> Sales person apparently did not fully appreciate the amount of leveling (grinding of slab) to be done, so installers had more to do than they anticipated. It seemed like the installers or their schedulers didn't account for the baseboard and leveling to be done and that pretty much threw off the installer's schedule. <br /> The first estimate was 2.5 to 3 days for installation. They did not finish until late on the 4th day. After the 2nd day, the leader of the installers was late, so his workers continued working without him. He had apparently been booked on another job. The leader was very friendly and accommodating, but was obviously stretched too thin. The team showed up several hours late on the last day to complete the job. <br /> The quality of the installation was acceptable, but gaps at the ends of the planks (in many places) and between planks (in several areas) were noticeable. Installer's solution was to use putty and stain to fill in or mask the gaps. When we called the sales person to describe the situation, he said he would look into it and get back to us. He did not. If the installation leader had been present during the entire installation, perhaps there would have been more attention detail and fewer gaps. <br /> Installers did good job cleaning up after themselves. Even though the baseboards need to be repainted, we are pleased with our choice to have them removed and not have to use quarter-round to cover an installation gap on the edges. There was a box and a half of planks left over for spares, which was good. <br /> Overall, the price was right, and the finished product is acceptable. We've filled in and gotten used to any gaps between the planks. The overall grade of C represents the frustrations during installation, gaps between planks, and lack of responsiveness of sales person after the sale. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Installing wood flooring in our master bedroom was actually the second time we chose Carpet Connection for new flooring.  The first was our living room about six years ago.  We were happy then and didn't think twice about having them out the second time. We were surprised but glad the same crew did both jobs.  Having retired after many years in the home building industry I've seen my share of good and bad flooring companies.  These guys know how to do it right, the first time.  What impressed me was even though both of these jobs were small,  the owner came to our home and personally measured the job.  There were no hidden charges and the cost was very competitive.  The installers did everything from moving furniture before and after to cleaning up spotlessly when the job was done.  They were courteous and seemed to take great pride in their work. We have recommended them to friends and family and have never heard a single complaint.  Both times when the work was finished the owner came to inspect the work himself.  Rarely have I seen anyone show more interest in his customers.  Try Carpet Connection...you will be glad you did."

"Eddie, Jon and Glenda were friendly and knowledgeable in helping us pick the padding and carpet we wanted. Installers, Dommingo and Syles (A father and son team), and Michael, were professional, friendly, and experienced in installing carpet. We are very pleased with how the carpet looks and feels, and would highly recommend FWC Flooring and the installers."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Poolville, TX

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
