He gave our house a total facelift and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave advice for how to make things look better, without overcharging us. "Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. (The ONLY minor problem for the ENTIRE process was an oil stain from their air compressor on one of our paving blocks.) With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer! Note that our project included house (2050 sq ft) replacement of all substandard 3/4” roof decking with code 7/16” decking (2080 sq ft) and also included reroofing of standalone shed (100 sq ft) minus decking replacement/gutters."

"We had a great experience working with this contractor. He did an excellent job on both our roof and deck. The roof needed a full replacement, including all new plywood since the existing wood was completely worn out, and everything was handled thoroughly and professionally. He also rebuilt our deck from the ground up using Trex decking because the base of the previous wood deck had rotted out. The transformation is incredible. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

We later added removal of a wall and closet, replacing the dining room floor and painting the is one and the living room. We requested 7 quotes in total since this was a major project. We made four modification to the original project changing design and scope of work, - a very competitive price, - solid references, - have insurance and be licensed.
