"Michael called and scheduled an early morning appointment for the dishwasher installation.   I purchased the dishwasher along with the installation from Lowe's and he was the subcontractor they used. <br /> On the day of installation, he gave me a courtesy call to let me know he had picked up the new dishwasher and was on his way. <br /> He unpacked the new dishwasher at the house and noticed it was dented. <br /> Lowe's did not have a replacement, and he worked with Lowe's to get an acceptable unit substituted for the damaged one.  He really went to bat for me on this and I truly appreciated it. <br /> During the installation, he noticed the water supply valve to the dishwasher had been leaking and replaced that. <br /> He also noticed the plumbing under the sink had been dripping and he tightened all of that up. <br /> He was honest and upfront about what he was doing. <br /> I did owe him extra for the installation but his additional fees (which were for parts and labor) were reasonable."
