"After weeks of getting the runaround from several larger local fence companies; unreturned calls and e-mails, difficulty scheduling for someone to come out and give a quote, length of time to complete, etc., we were a little despondent. We only needed 80 feet of chain link fence installed at the back of our property, after our neighbor removed his fence and we no longer had the security for our pet or the privacy we liked. Not a big job, but still a job! Luckily, I saw a recommendation for Shark Home Improvement on Facebook. My wife called, and was pleasantly surprised that the call was answered promptly by Greg, rather than a machine. She explained the situation, and he arranged a time to come over and meet with us that fit our work schedule. On the appointed day and time, he arrived, reviewed what was needed, discussed options, explained the process, and said he would get a quote to us within a couple of days. When we received it, the price for the job was reasonable so we agreed. We scheduled for him to come out again to sign the contract, and his wife, Renee, then prepared the needed paperwork for permitting and to order the supplies needed. She called about a week later to inform us when the materials would be delivered, and that they would be out to install the day after. Materials arrived as scheduled, and were placed in an area that did not interfere with driveway access. The following day, Greg & Renee arrived a little earlier than planned, and immediately got to work. Well, in just about 3 hours the job was completed, and looks great! We are thrilled to have the security aspect back, and will be installing a privacy screen on the chain link within the next week. This is how all businesses should operate, with dedication and exemplary customer service! "H & Y Fence is a horrible company to do business with. On 4/8/21, I signed a contract with H & Y to remove and replace 6 fence panels surrounding a human waste lift station. H & Y wanted half the money upfront, which I paid them. On 6/29/21, their crew finally came and removed 6 four-foot by six-foot fence panels. They were supposed to reinstall them the next day, 6/30/21. Six weeks later, we are still waiting, and community residents have to look at the human waste lift station. H & Y are in breach of contract. When I call them, I am told someone will call me right back. No one ever does."
