"From the time I called to set an appointment for an estimate, through the time I received a post job email requesting information so that Dana Insulation could submit paperwork for an unexpected rebate, every step was handled perfectly. The owner, who came to write my estimate, was a delight to talk to. The scheduler was flexible and responsive. And the young men who performed my job were very respectful and professional. They took pictures before the job began, at the mid point when all of the very old insulation had been removed, and at the end showing the walls spayed with cellulose, and loose insulation at the proper depth. However, when the salesman returned, he identified that the window above the kitchen sink had been missed and claimed they couldn’t honor the price. I was never provided with a formal quote to review and verify for accuracy. The new price jumped nearly 3k, and although I offered to split the difference, this was declined. This kind of inconsistent communication and unprofessional handling of the pricing is unacceptable."
