"Mike came out originally to provide a bid on a sod replacement. After so much frustration with my front lawn, I wanted it ripped out and replaced. I had grossly miscalculated the size of my lawn, so the estimate was going to be at least double of what I had anticipated. Mike evaluated my lawn and told me I didn't need to replace my lawn-- I just needed to rehab it with thatching, laying down some seed and topsoil, etc. He did a soil analysis, sprinkler system audit, and gave me detailed bids within 24 hours of each eval (he did soil and sprinkler 2 separate days). By the time I accepted and provided a deposit, he and his crew were out within the week. His team plans to be out in about another week to check to make sure our lawn rehab is working, and as he has other clients in the neighborhood, he said he'd keep an eye on our lawn, too, to make sure our strategy is working. "I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. I will be hiring Eugene and Honeycomb Construction again for future home projects. Thank you!"

"They  were very good at coming out right away to look at our system. They were very prompt and professional. They were supposed to be looking for another part that went to our irrigation system, another part of the lawn that was covered, and he told me there wasn't another part. But after he left, that other part came on. He didn't really do much for $97, so the price seemed kind of high to me."

"Excellent! They explained why I could not get grass to grow well in my backyard: once they excavated, the soil contained lots of compact clay and rock, causing seeds to drown from watering. Once we locked in a date, they knocked it out relatively quickly, and gave me instructions on how to maintain the artificial grass going forward. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to the quotes I received from other contractors, and they did not charge me for leftover artificial grass, which they could have done. I recommend J&R Rockscapes without reservation!"
