"We replaced existing vinyl flooring for about 1/3 of the first floor in our house. Wood's Custom Floors had a large choice, and I found what I wanted easily. The installers showed up on time the first day (were about an hour late the 2nd day), were quick and professional in their work, and my new flooring looks wonderful. This installation should have taken only one day, but it was discovered that I had 2 pre-existing layers of linoleum instead of the one I thought was there (we are not the original owners of this house), and thus required removal of the top 'floating' layer, which added a good bit of time. The half-bath was the only area requiring work on the 2nd day, and it was finished in short order. We want to put new carpet in our master bedroom, and replace the vinyl flooring in the masterbath with tile. I plan on using Wood's Custom Flooring again, and that's the highest praise I can bestow."

"I had trouble getting a response (it took a a couple of days) to set up a visit for measuring. The day and time came and at the last minute when I was expecting him, the phone rang and Joey said he got detained by a customer and was just now leaving <br /> the store. I was annoyed as I had rescheduled some things to be home at that time. I think a phone call should have been made earlier. He never apologized and seemed as if he didn't care one way or the other. I told him I had an appointment and couldn't wait very long and he said it would take him about 20 minutes or so. I cancelled my plan and waited for him. <br /> Joey arrived and again never apologized for being late or not calling, he really seemed as if he didn't care. He measured and told me he would have the estimate the next afternoon. So at 4 the next day I finally called and he said he didn't have it ready. He was rude on the phone and I decided then that I would look elsewhere for carpet. He did finally call around 5 or so with the estimate and really acted as if he didn't care if he got the business or not. <br /> I found someone else who gave a better bid, didn't play games with the prices and was very customer oriented. <br /> I would not recommend Joey's carpet. <br />"
